Evening all, I have had my last non-SW friendly day today!  Back on it tomorrow.

No plans for eating out; Christmas Day we are hoping to be at DD1s for dinner (her partner is the chef!) so will definitely be syns there - don't think he knows how to cook without loads of oil!  Of course this all assumes that our PCR results come back Negative in time!

I have planned roughly until the end of the month and most meat and HM ready meals will come from the freezer.  I'll have potatoes, onions and various root veg, leeks, eggs, cheese ham so plenty to be going on with until after Christmas when I can get to the shops again.  There's also frozen veg in the freezer.

Not really had a lot of veg although have tried to have some every day.  The alcohol consumption needs to reduce too as been drinking most days.

I think @maman a new thread is vital!  This one is getting quite long now.  Can we use something along the lines of the new book SW are giving out in between Christmas and mid January?  Think it's something like Fresh Start so maybe Fresh Start in 22?

Morning all!  Think a new thread is a great idea for the new year @maman and agree with your title suggestion @joedenise because a lot of people will probably be looking for a fresh start next year.

Didn't workout this morning because energy levels are low due to star week approaching so had a little bit of a lie in.  Had some weetabix and a clementine for breakfast, lunch is probably yet more lentil soup and dinner will be carbonara with some salad.

Hope you all have a good day!

Morning all.  We managed to get LFT done on Monday so I phone Eurotunnel and managed to change our booking to yesterday so actually have a bit of a head start with the washing!  Two loads done and on the line although not sure anything will dry as it's cold but no wind but will leave it out until about 2 or 3pm and see how it is and if necessary fill up the airer and then tumble dry the rest, just to get it out of the way.  Had hoped to get 3 loads done this morning and on to the line but it's almost full with just the 2 loads so will leave the rest until tomorrow and see how it goes, suspect there will be another 5 or 6 loads and that's before I do bedding from the van plus the bedding indoors will need changing by then too but will probably leave that until after Christmas.  Also need to wash the mats in the van but that can definitely wait a while so not desperate and will also do the door mats at the front and back doors.  Now stuck indoors until we get a Negative result from the PCR which hopefully we'll have tomorrow as we sent them off yesterday lunchtime having done the tests immediately we got home.

Weighed myself this morning and I need to lose at least 4.5lb before I even consider going to group again!  I have already booked New Year's Eve as holiday as was supposed to still be in France then so got a few weeks before I need to go and weigh officially.  Today will be the 1st day of my new week as going to change to the Wednesday morning group I went to before my holiday.  I prefer that group and it also makes sense when it gets warmer we often go away for long weekends from Thursday so Friday morning group isn't really the best idea.

    Back on plan today:

    B - fried egg sandwich - HEB; P; 3.5
    L - leek and potato soup - S; F
    D - savoury mince, potatoes and veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 3.5

Have a good day everyone.  It's good to be back on plan!

Morning all, been busy with work and family the last few days.  Food has been on plan where it can be but have had dinner at mum's a few times as it was easier but that means definitely not on plan!  Think I will be going for a fresh start in January.  I don't need to weigh, clothes are telling me.

At home today, breakfast was baked oats with f/f yoghurt and skinny caramel syrup 0.5 syns, lunch is lentil soup and dinner will be spaghetti bolognaise with parmesan.

    Have a good day!

Welcome Back @joedenise! At least you can get on with the washing while you're waiting for your test results. 🤞🏼 all will be well. Well done for getting straight back on plan.

I think Fresh Start is a great idea for a new thread. I'll post a reminder for @beanilou towards the end of the month.

Keep plodding on @Jellybaby and @ruby_eskimo, stick to the 'Good when you can' principle. I'm trying to put off eating festive food at home for a couple more days yet. I did most of my Christmas food shopping today, mainly fruit, vegetables and cheeses. I was amazed looking at some people's trolleys full of stuff I'm sure they'll never eat. Or probably shouldn't eat as there was so much junk! 🤣

I did treat myself to some prawns with garlic and parsley in Sainsbury's. I had some YS a while ago and they're delicious and just 1 syn if a bit pricey. I plan to just snack on them as a treat. 😋

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), 2 fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- ham (P), fried veg (F,S), pickles (S)
D- lamb chops (P), potatoes (F), cabbages, carrots, cauli, broccoli (S)
    Syns- gravy 4, prawns 1?

    Evening all
I lost 2.5lbs! I’m chuffed to bits. I pulled it back after the weekend. I even wore my skinny joggers today and I managed to get leggings under them comfortably! I was going for WI and couldn’t be bothered to get changed so I was just able to take off the joggers. I also wore a Jack Wills hoodie with them that I bought in Aberdeen on honeymoon. It only just fitted when I bought it (in fact it was a bit on the small side) but I comfortably wore it with a t-shirt and vest underneath it today. I didn’t notice how well it fitted until I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror in John Lewis. I was quite chuffed with myself.
I’m aiming to be good up until Christmas Eve evening then having a couple of days off. I’m quite close to my next award, I’m tending to get an award about every month so I definitely reckon I’ve got time to get at least my 3 stone award before my next blood test in February.
Just finishing my tea off, then I’m going to put my feet up. My back is protesting violently about the two heavy bags of shopping I carried from Morrison’s across town then to group then home.. then the two loads of wet washing I carried outside to the dryer.. and then the Christmas presents I carried downstairs. Definitely making its displeasure felt 😂

    Lots of love xx
