Morning all. Love the bauble wreath @bubbs and thanks for posting the Tesco pic, guess where I'm going for food shopping on Sunday 😂 Love your wreath to @maman. Ours is very MSE, was originally part of a table decoration (think a wreath with a glass candle holder in the middle), and DH broke the glass bit a few years ago when packing it away, so now we just hang it on the door using a hook with a suction cup on it 👍
Don't know what got into me last night but just couldn't stop eating. No idea why but line is drawn and back to it today. Porridge with raspberries for breakfast, last of the butternut squash soup for lunch and dinner will be chicken curry with mushroom rice for me.
Got a busy day with lots of meetings and then getting my hair cut finally tonight so that will be some weight gone at least this week 😆Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20171 -
Morning, love all your wreaths. As I live at the top of a hill and get battered with the slightest wind and rain, I've given up hanging one on the front door!
The fridge is getting decidedly bare again so breakfast today is beans on toast, ham omelette with pickles for lunch and dinner is chicken teriyaki with rice.I'll have mushrooms and broccoli on the side to use them up. Only syns will be honey and a tsp of sesame oil.
Have a good day all.1 -
We've been out for lunch today. I had a prawn cocktail which had minimal sauce and lots of leaves so OK. Traditional roast also OK. Cheeseboard after which had tiny crackers and some would have been HEA. Then the wine syns, not OK. 🤣 Probably won't eat much else today. Back on plan tomorrow. 😁1

Finally got a fairly good Wi-Fi signal so thought I would post again.
DH has decided he’s had enough the carp weather and most places e’ve been haven’t been very Christmasy so have changed our tunnel booking to next week! Eurotunnel nt charging for changes at the moment so that has saved us about £75.
Will be getting back on plan 2 weeks earlier than expected! Need to do a menu lan for the week we get back as need to isolate until we get a negative PCR test (another £100+).
Having ham, egg, chips, beans and mushrooms for dinner tonight. Had some oysters as a snack mid afternoon (with a glass of wine!).
Glad you finally have some gas @bubbs. Good job you have the so you can still eat hot food.
You make me feel tired @Mrs_Ryan just reading about your weekend’s in London.

Booked tunnel for next Wednesday. Really pleased as they’re not charging for changes. So yes home for Christmas. Just need to sort out what we’re going to eat between getting home and when we’re allowed out again!

Loads of meat in the freezer but not sure what we’ll have. ]Still have some bourgignon beef in the freezer so may well have a stew on Christmas Day, 😂. I’m sure we’ll be ok even if not traditional.1
