We love the garlic mushrooms too @bubbs but I never think to have them for lunch. Good idea.😋

I think @joedenise should be back soon from her sunshine holiday. I can't remember if they were self catering. It'll be interesting to hear how she's done. 🤔

Was wondering @bubbs, Is it around now you usually go and stay with your sister for a couple of weeks. 🤔

We have the garlic mushrooms as a side dish with KFC or fish. 😋

AI, like buffets, can work well if there are plenty of choices of lean meat and vegetables and salads. It'll be good to know.

Good that they relaxed the rules because of Covid @bubbs. Who knows what will happen in the next few weeks. 🤔☹️

I have had them on steak but tbh dont fancy them with kfc, kfc and cheese 😏😂

Yes well they had too this year because too many people to move about, also alot of the hotels were shut and epople couldn;t go on holiday where alot of people go. There is a park next door with approx 2,000 people on , all them moving around this year would not have been good, see what happens next year but people need to know as it is not cheap for families finding accommodation and next door is January.

Yes i agree they can be good, but can be naughty too 🤣🤣🤣

I'm sure you enjoyed your pancake @bubbs. I'm out for my first Christmas lunch tomorrow and looking forward to the cheeseboard I'll have after it. I prefer that to anything sweet.

Got home a couple of hours ago and the house feels really cold!  We were All Inclusive, including premium spirits so lots of G&Ts consumed both in the hotel and when out and about - was 2.50 euro for a very large G&T!

Unfortunately the food wasn't very SW friendly although I did eat plenty of salads but usually as a starter.  Veggie omelette or veggie scrambled eggs with bacon & a sort of hash brown with veg in so did try with the Speed foods.  Most of the meals were creamy or fried! I tried but have definitely put weight on - no idea how much yet but will jump on the scales in the morning and check!  But wouldn't be surprised if it's 5lb or so as I feel quite fat and bloated and couldn't even do my jeans up the other night (probably have been OK if they'd been the stretch ones rather than the rigid ones!)

Line drawn and back on plan from tomorrow, well at least until we go to France next Thursday!

Morning all, up early as lots of washing to get done!  First load in and it's not even light yet.  Think there's probably about 10 loads to do over the next few days to wash, dry, sort and either put away or sort out to take away with us to France.  Definitely no need for the shorts though!  Will need to sort out plenty of warm jumpers too.

Glad to be back to get some properly cooked veg!  All the veg was either not cooked enough or really overcooked!

Back on plan this morning and here's today's offering:

    B - porridge, fruit - HEB; S
L - jacket potato, beans, tomatoes, mixed leaves from garden (if they've survived the weather!) - P; S; F
    D - Barnsley chops, mash, veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
    Syns - none planned

Have weighed myself this morning and I have put on about half a stone!  Think that's going to take a while to get rid of!  Not going to be easy with month in France coming up after this week.  Will have to see how much I can shift this week with being good!

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.  Sorry to hear about everything going on @klew356, hopefully things start looking up soon now that power and water are starting to get turned back on.

Sounds like you had a good time @joedenise and I'm sure you'll lose a pound or two by the time you go to France - when I come back from holidays I find most of the gain is just water weight from the food, alcohol and the flights.  Good luck with getting all the washing done!

Couldn't bring myself to get out of bed this morning - definitely feels colder in the house.  Had porridge with raspberries and half a banana for breakfast, lunch will be cauliflower cheese soup and dinner is a jacket potato with tuna and salad I think.  Had a mystery box of mince pies from Betty's arrive on our doorstep last night too, which I think is from my parents so might treat myself to one of those this evening too.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning all, you have such a lot going on @klew356 look after yourself too.   Good you've had a good holiday @joedenise but the cold will seem even worse after the sunshine!  You've done really well considering you were AI and will get it off in time for France

I'm off to a colleague's leaving drinks tonight but have decided to drive  ;) Partly to save the syns for lunch I've got with friends tomorrow but want to shake this fat, frumpy feeling I'm going through.  I've also decided to put the tree up tomorrow as it's the only free-ish weekend I have.   DS thinks I've lost the plot as I'm usually running around mad a few days before but it's for that very reason it's going up.

About to have bran flakes, yoghurt and berries for breakfast, think lunch will be lentil soup and dinner is steak, homemade wedges, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes.  The fridge is practically bare so will have to fit in a food shop too.

    Have a good day all.
