    Hiya all
At mum’s so I’m being partially good 😂was going to go and WI today but couldn’t get out of bed! I’m going to attempt Thursday.

Went to visit my brother today, I was wearing my new RI outfit and the new boots mum bought me yesterday. He said I looked very smart and he could see that I’ve lost weight. Mum also said she really liked my t-shirt. It was pleasingly baggy  as well. I bought another t-shirt and some more leggings from RI today as well.

I’ve been good today so I’m posting my food.
B: Cheese on toast (1/2 HEXA, HEXB) +4
L: Boots Shapers Mini Sushi Rolls (1) Fridge Raiders (2.5) water
D- salmon, Couscous (0.5) salad. 1.5 for salad cream. Blueberries and raspberries with yoghurt (1)
    S: crisps (3.5) cherry bakewell bar (3)
    Syns: 17
Night all. Lots of love xx

Morning all.  I'm with you on the brussels @maman 🤢 and well done on the NSV's @Mrs_Ryan!

Back is still a bit off so didn't go for a walk yesterday but will try and get some stretches in today to see if that helps.  Don't think it's anything too serious, think I've just slightly pulled a muscle and the cold weather doesn't help.  So porridge with almond milk and raspberries again this morning, the last of the tofu rice bowls for lunch and then dinner is basically a cheese board as we're putting the christmas tree up so wanted something picky around that.  My philosophy this year is that I will eat as "good" as I can 80% of the time and still have the odd treat, but not go too crazy and just aim to maintain if I can (although a loss would be amazing too!)

Hope everyone has a good day.

@maman yes I sprayed with frylight (not a lot as I don't like it at all) and sprinkled with chilli salt for about 20 minutes.  Kept my eye on it and the ends were still a bit over crispy but I ate it all!   Found a chilli frylight spray in the cupboard so will try that next.

We had torrential rain last night and it's still wet and windy this morning.  Out at meetings for most of today so on one hand happy to be getting out but on the other a bit apprehensive about how busy the rooms will be.

Just coffee this morning as I'm not hungry yet and lunch is pea and ham soup with a ham salad sandwich if I'm ravenous by then.  Dinner is chicken fried rice with remaining broccoli.

    Have a good day all.

Christmas tree @ruby_eskimo ??😁 I have no plans for decorations for at least another couple of weeks but I'd willingly join you on the cheese! 😋

DH and I were talking about which we'd get in for Christmas as I was disappointed to see that Aldi don't seem to sell their Gorgonzola any more. We have the first of our Christmas lunches with friends on Friday so I'm looking forward to a cheeseboard as we always have 3 courses as it's a special occasion.

Thanks for that @jellybaby. I'll give it a go. I cook in the oven as much as I can, when it's on, and the broccoli would take about the same time as tomatoes and mushrooms which I add to lots of meals.

Good to see that your family are noticing your weightloss @MrsRyan, especially as you were cross with your mum about it a few weeks back.

I've got a busy day tomorrow so I'm going to cook chicken casserole today and then I'll just need to reheat it when I get in. It always tastes better after it's marinated anyway.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries and strawberries (S)
    L- veggie omelette (P,S), ham (P), pickles (S)
    D- SW Bolognese (P,S), tagliatelle (P), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- Football tonight so may have a bite of Crunchie. ❤⚽
  • Not SW related, but you know when your 6 year old car is starting to feel it's age :( £400 for service, which included new battery, then the garage utters the immortal words, we will send you a quote. All age related things, £700 :( All of this on top of discovering that I now need to have a PCR to go to Ireland.  I would possibly have taken a chance and go without, but I have to remember my mum is now vulnerable and her next lot of chemo will be Christmas week, so I can't take the risk. :(

Weigh in tomorrow, if I maintain, I will be happy.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Ouch! @Gettingtherequickly. ☹️ Cars are great servants until they start going WRONG. A bit like computers. ☹️ I'm sure you want to take all precautions to protect your mum but yet more expense but worth it. At least you can travel which you couldn't last year. 🤞for WI. ☺️
