Can anybody explain the logic in SW consultants writing down your weight/date/etc on a post it note and handing it to you rather than writing it down in the back of your book which you now have to do yourself.  Down to covid apparently. 🤣    They don’t mind taking bank notes off you though.  😉

    Evening all
I had a successful trip today even though everywhere was heaving.

I got a cardigan, 2 t-shirts and some leggings in River Island, and got 20% off for Black Friday. I might have had another little changing room crying moment because RI is my absolute favourite shop. It’s been a very long time since I could fit into anything not bought from the Plus Size section of their website. I collected my Lipsy tracksuit from Next- I definitely could have got away with the 18. The bottoms are massive, like clown trousers 😂but they’re quite comfy on the waist and generous around the tummy.

Because of the scar from my cancer op I’m such a funny shape and it’s really hard to get anything that doesn’t cut me in two. For that reason I love long t-shirts and the one I bought to go with the tracksuit is perfect. I also bought jeggings from Primark and I didn’t realise I needed new undies until I bought some on the off chance from M&S. 😂the new size 20’s fit a lot better. No longer will my derrière be flapping in the wind in my size 24’s 😂😂

Best news today is that I finally got my blood test results back. When I was diagnosed my levels were high. In 3 months I’ve managed to half them and I’m just over remission level! I sincerely hope that’s wiped the smug smirk off the face of the nurse at the surgery who was so certain that my levels would only go up..!! Needless to say nobody actually bothered telling me. I have the NHS app which tells me these things and I have a feeling that I won’t hear anything from the surgery either!

    Today’s food:
B: HEXB porridge with HEXA Milk and blueberries
L: SW lunch pot and veg, Skinny bar thing (3.5)
D- Roasted sea bass with bacon and baby tomatoes, new potatoes, veg. Chocolate (4.5)
    S: Crisps (6.5)

    Syns: 14.5
    Night all xx

    Morning all

Penny that is odd, when groups opened we had to put our own card in the machine and write in our books, but now everything is how it was.

I meant to mention it when Maman did Thursday and forgot!

Glad you had a successful shop Mrs R  and well done on your sugars!

Well i had another sts 🙄

Hope everyone is keeping warm in this cold, it is FREEZING!!

There's a long list of NSVs in there @MrsRyan but the best one has to be the blood test results! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Although I do like hearing about the clothes shopping. It's such a joy to be able to wear nice clothes instead of just covering up.

There's so much that's illogical about Covid precautions @Pennylane. Unlike @bubbs, this was the first week where we've weighed ourselves and written in the books, making the whole thing self service except for the person who takes the money! 🤣 I put it down to staff shortage rather than Covid as between lockdowns we had the post it thing like you. I rebelled on Thursday and as we were left to our own devices to weigh, I took my shoes off!!! 😲

I think my meal was OK last night. I had mussels to start which had been done with lemon grass and chilli and were surprisingly nice. Then I had a chicken breast on colcannon mash with some veg. I think there must have been butter in the potatoes as it was advertised as a veggie rather than vegan side but other than that I can't see many syns. I had plenty of wine though! 😁

Lots of cooking to do today. I'm out tomorrow afternoon so plan to do a beef casserole again to have when I get back. I'd also like to put a chilli in the SC and batch cook some red cabbage and swede mash. Not sure how much of that will get done but I'll try. KFC for dinner tonight instead of yesterday. 😋

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S)
L- LO corned beef hash (P,F,S) with fried egg (P) and pickles (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrots, roast tomatoes, mushrooms, green stuff (S)
    Syns- weekend wine😁

    Afternoon all 👋🏻
WI with a smidge off 🤨
Got a busy week coming up. New meters installed, replacement ‘special long lasting’ light bulbs which so far haven’t lived up to their name. Supposed to last 10 years but we’ve had about 6 since they changed them in last 5 years 🙄.
I have after school training until 6.30 on Wednesday 😤 and theatre trip with 60 kids on Thursday then booster Saturday (& breathe 😵‍💫)
Sunday I will mostly be sleeping 🤪
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

    That's a move in the right direction @TakeItEazy. 😁

Same thing here with the 'new' lamps. ☹️

Good luck for the coming week. Training at the end of a working day is hard and going to the theatre isn't the picnic that some might think. At least you won't have time to stuff yourself with choc ices! 🤣

I have to confess to a s*d it moment last night. DH was eating chocolate and gave me a small square as a taste. Unfortunately, I didn't stop there and I ended up eating some of the chocolate marzipan that's meant to be for Christmas. I know it was just because I could. I wasn't hungry or anything like that.  I'd never have done that if I had WI coming up. Anyway, line is drawn and back on plan now.

Dinner is all prepped for a quick turn around when I get back from dancing later. People are taking a snacky tea to have in the break so I have a smoked salmon pasta salad to put together.

I did the veggie chilli yesterday but the other batch cooking will have to wait for later in the week.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- veggie stir fry (S) with noodles (F), pasta salad (P,S,F)
D- beef in 'red wine' casserole (P,S), SW roast potatoes (F), many veg (S)
Syns- sweet chilli sauce 1, LTL mayo 1, cornflour 1, weekend wine😊
