Can’t believe it’s nearly half way through my week off already. Have been on plan so far but planning ‘holiday’ wine syns tonight 😀

I too sometimes get bloated @maman but know with me, after years of tests and IBS, it’s the amount of veggies I eat. It passes eventually but can be uncomfortable and worrisome.

My works Christmas night out is this Friday so have already made sure the black jeans and top I’m wearing still fit!  Syns will no doubt go out the window but I’m so looking forward to being out. Back on track Saturday morning.

    Evening all
Im seriously hacked off at the lack of clothes I possess that fit me 😂I went rummaging in the spare room today. That place is like a vortex for clothes of all sizes but unfortunately for me it seems it’s just full of the size 24 summer clothes I put in there in recent times 😂

i did however unearth a very nice pair of joggers that I was unaware I had that will go with a cream sweatshirt I bought recently. They are Jack Wills skinny fit, they’re labelled XL and they’re a beautiful fit. I’m guessing they’re men’s but I was surprised at the fit as their sizing is a bit rubbish.

I also unearthed a pair of Lipsy joggers- they’re labelled as a 16 but fit quite nicely and a Superdry hoodie dress covered in cobwebs which has gone in the machine.
I can’t wait for Friday- I might actually get some clothes that fit 😂

I’ve gone a bit over syns today but I have a plan to pull them back tomorrow.

    B: Fried egg sarnie (HEXB + 6) HiFi (3)
L: SW meal pot and veg, Skinny bar (3.5)
D- SW chicken korma, rice (3) salad. Chocolate (4.5)
    S: Crisps (6.5)
    Syns: 26.5 (ooops)

Night all. Lots of love xx

Wot no pics tonight @bubbs? ☹️

Thanks for the sympathy re bloating @ruby_eskimo and @Jellybaby. I'm supposed to be having tests too but suspect (if I ever get to the top of the queue) that I'll ju have to live with it.

No problem enjoying your holiday @Jellybaby. We've missed out on so much. Quite a NSV knowing your outfit for Friday fits. Not many can say that after lockdown. 👏👏👏
  • Morning all.  I had to actually put some of my work clothes away in storage because they don't fit after lockdown @maman 😏  When I was staying with my friend over the weekend, she was commenting on my weight loss over the last few years and that now she's the fat one 😳  I was a little offended that she thinks of us in those terms but I know that it's not meant maliciously.  Yes I am a stone heavier than when she last saw me but I actually felt leaner and better about myself.  Although ⭐ week has just arrived so I'm back to being a bit bloated again.

Haven't had breakfast yet today as I had such an early start for work and had planned on cauliflower cheese soup and bread for dinner tonight but now DH is talking about going out for dinner because he's found a voucher from last Christmas that we'd forgotten about 🤔  So no idea what the plan is now, he just needs to decide in the next 30 minutes before I start getting too hungry!

I love the pics @bubbs but they always make me feel so hungry as you eat earlier than me. Tonight is going to be particularly late as DH won't be home for a while yet. he suggested bringing  fish and chips home but I declined. I must check with him if he was just trying to save me work or whether he really fancies some. 🤔

I'm sure you're right that your friend was giving you a back handed compliment @ruby_eskimo but she was a bit clumsy. Next time you meet up you'll be even slimmer but I wonder whether seeing you has motivated her. It's obviously something she thinks about.

I'm still dithering about whether to go to WI tomorrow. The trouble is that if I'm over target tomorrow, I can't see it improving in the next few weeks.

I did some butter beans in the SC yesterday. Ever so easy and I'm sure better value than buying tins. I portioned them up this morning for the freezer. I've had the big bag of dried beans from the Asian supermarket for ages. Roughly speaking they double in weight when cooked so I need to check the prices.

ETA - 400g of dried beans make 1kg+ of cooked beans, so definitely good value.

I've not enjoyed this latest bag of red berries as much this time. There seem to be over many strawberries in it which don't freeze well and aren't sharp enough for me. I suppose it depends which fruit is most plentiful and cheap when they make up the bags. I think I'll buy some raspberries to balance things out a bit.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, berries (S)
L- veggie and ham omelette (P,S), pickles (S)
    D- SW Bolognese (P,S), pasta (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

Your tea looks lush as well as tasting it @bubbs. I love a fry up.😋

I could leave WI until 23rd December but I have so many meals out in between plus Christmas straight after that I'd likely be ages before I can get back in target. If I weigh tomorrow and I'm over then I have a slight chance of getting back by next week. If I'm still in target tomorrow then I will be be very happy but unlikely with all the bloating this week. The worst that can happen is that I pay for a few weeks. I can live with that as SW haven't had much out of me for 10 years. 🤣 I'll decide later. 🤔🤔🤔
