Hey all, I too had a wee half pound added when I weighed in this morning 😕 not expected but I’ll plod on.   I’m on holiday all next week and so far have spent the weekend cleaning - send your OH to my house Bubbs 😂

Have also had a batch cooking session and the freezer is full of spag bol, chilli, lentil soup, pea and ham, tomato and red pepper and mushroom.

Face timed with my eldest DS who lives abroad.  Due to restrictions and his exam timetable, it will be this time next year before he visits - over three years since I’ve hugged him 🥲 he’d get home now but quarantine time and costs, added to flight costs from NZ, just make it ludicrous.

Have decided on gin syns rather than wine syns this weekend, see if that makes a difference.

Enjoy your break @Jellybaby. Half a pound can be quickly fixed. Good that you have facetime but you must miss your DS. Just think how fabulous his mum will look by the time he gets back home. 😁

I went to Boots today and their scales tell me I'm a pound over. I think I will go to WI this week and hope for the best.

I went to Tesco to buy some of their Finest smoked salmon. Out of stock ☹️ then I found 2 packs YS! 😁 £ 2.2O instead of £5.50. 👏That's in the freezer for Christmas.

I portioned up the Bolognese and kept some out for my lunch.

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit squash, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S)
    L- JP (F). Bolognese (P, S), pickled cabbage (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' casserole (P, S), SW roast potatoes and parsnips (F), many vegetables (S)
    Syns - cornflour 1, weekend wine 😋

I never think about doing mash with a roast @bubbs. Something I must try because any LOs make brilliant bubble and squeak, far better than the sort of hash I usually have for lunch early in the week. 🤔

    Hiya
Sorry been AWOL again but I promise I’ve been lurking (with intent 😂)
WI tomorrow. I’m weighing at a different group- I used to go to this group until no word of a lie- they re laid the floor and no-one was losing because the scales were uneven! One week my home scales said I had lost 5lbs but the group scales said I had gained! This was a while ago now so I hope the floor has flattened a bit 😂
    Today’s food was:
B: Bacon and tomato sandwich (HEXB +6) HiFi bar (3)
L: SW meal pot and veg
D- Teriyaki salmon (1) noodles and veg. Blueberries, yoghurt and Choc Shot (2)
S: Crisps (6.5) 0% gin and sugar free Tango (0.5)
    Syns: 19

    Night all xx

Morning all, not sure how well I'll do this week as our kitchen is getting re-vamped.  I'm contemplating making pea & Ham Soup in the slow cooker as that should last us most of the week.

B - kallo gf puffed rice & almond unsweetened milk

    L - Cup a Soup. Fruit

D - Going to favourite Indian restaurant (hence the lower than usual lunch)

  • Morning all!  Enjoyed a lovely weekend in Lancashire with my best friend.  Yes we may have drank a lot of wine while catching up on the last 2 years and definitely wasn't eating SW friendly food but I have managed 1.5lbs off this week 🥳  Think it was mainly due to the lots of walking we did (or any gain will catch up with me next week 😳)

Had a bacon sandwich for breakfast, lunch is more minestrone soup and dinner will be a stir fry to use a few bits and pieces up.  Hope everyone has a good day, I'm off to grab a coffee before I freeze at my desk!

Sounds like a great weekend @ruby_eskimo. And a loss as well! Brilliant!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

It's always difficult to follow the plan without proper kitchen facilities @durham_mim. but do your best with the SC and microwave.  I'm glad you plan to measure inches as well as pounds. Exercise can help toning which often doesn't show on the scales.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg and bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold meat (P), potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- baked salmon (P), potato cubes (F), carrots, spicy cauli, mushrooms, tomatoes, green stuff (S)
    Syns- 0

    Afternoon everyone 😊
    Im a happy bunny today.
3.5 off, 2 stone award, Club 10, and Slimmer of the Week.

There’s an NSV to report as well- I’ve always wanted a pair of Topshop jeans. Even when I was skinny I was never brave enough- I preferred the slightly more generous Dorothy Perkins ones.
So just before Topshop went bust I bought a pair of size 18 skinny blue jeans, intending to slim into them. At one point I put them up for sale as I thought I would never fit into them. They didn’t sell though and I’m very glad.

I’ve been trying them on at various stages of my journey so far- and I’m happy to report I’ve just put them on and instead of expecting the usual grapple to see if they will meet- they not only met but the zip slid up easily and the button fastened equally as easily.
I have removed the tags and hung them proudly in the wardrobe. 😊

    Todays food:
B: Bacon sandwich (HEXB +6) HiFi bar (3)
L: Mackerel in tomato sauce (not something I would have chosen for myself but I got it in the SOTW basket and it was lovely!) Rice (3) salad. Chocolate (4.5)
D- Lamb ‘kebab’ couscous (0.5) salad. Blueberries, yoghurt, Choc shot (2)
    S: Chicken drumsticks
    Syns: 19

    Lots of love xx
