Hello all, still here, still waiting on dialysis! 🙄
Sending big hugs to those who’ve lost love ones, been poorly and hopefully on the mend 💞. Welcome back Lush & congratulations on your addition 👶🏼 👩❤️👨.
Not much changed here, weight up & down. Struggling with menopause 🥺.
Covid is rife at school, my bestie tested positive on Friday. Lots of children off, staff dropping like flies 😲. My pcr was negative so 🤞🏻 I stay that way.Hubby had OP meeting re return to work, looking like medical retirement 😢. Stay of execution at moment as on sick leave. Until he starts dialysis he won’t know how he will feel, surgeon says fistula ready to go but heard nothing since 😡.
Was our pups 2nd birthday yesterday, he had his first puppuccino which went down a treat 🤗. Can’t believe how long he’s been with us, wonder when a long term foster becomes permanent 🤔🤣Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

just running on to say a quick hello. Not documenting food as I spent the day out yesterday (Tuesday) I overslept so I didn’t have time to eat and I found myself snacking on rubbish for the rest of the day.3 mini sausage rolls and a bag of crisps for breakfast anyone?!
@maman- the ‘kebab’ is an SW recipe I found in a magazine ages ago and kept on my phone. It’s essentially a couple of lamb steaks marinated in chilli powder, garlic and lemon and then cooked in the oven.WI today- not holding my breath though!Night all xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Morning all, up early this morning - up at 4.45am; think I'm getting into practice for tomorrow morning as need to be up around 4am! Not looking forward to that!
Good to hear from you @TakeItEazy but not good that your DH is still waiting for dialysis and facing possible medical retirement. Do hope things start happening soon.
Draw the line @Mrs_Ryan and get back on plan. You know you can do it. Nothing you can do about what has happened but you can be mindful going forward. Good luck with WI - at least you will know where you stand.
Need to portion up the savoury mince this morning and get that frozen. Will keep out enough to make a cottage pie for tonight. Have also decided to change the bedding so it's something I don't have to do when we come back in a couple of weeks! I'll have enough washing without doing bedding as well!
Today's plan:
B - eggs on toast
L - leek and potato soup
D - cottage pie, green veg
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned
This is definitely a use it up day!
Have a good day everyone.
Back in a couple of weeks!

Morning everyone, hope your OH gets treatment soon TIE. Have a lovely holiday @joedenise!
I still feel tired and sluggish so think I'll make a conscious effort to get back to drinking more water throughout the day and see if that helps.
Today's food:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt and berries
L - tomato and red pepper soup, mixed salad
D - pork medallions, h/m chips, carrots, peas, sweetcorn
Syns - none planned
Have a good day all!

Morning all. Hope you get some good news for DH soon @TakeItEazy but at least you have a gorgeous doggo to help you through it 😍
Hope you have a lovely time away @joedenise I also like changing the sheets before we go away anywhere as it's one less job to do when we get back.
DH had his booster jab last night and consequently wanted to order pizza for dinner to make him feel better 😏 While I enjoyed it, I woke up this morning feeling really lethargic and just not great so think I've finally hit the lightbulb moment of it's just not worth stuffing myself with "bad" food (don't really like that term as food is food) because it makes me feel awful afterwards. While I didn't work out this morning due to feeling bad, I will go for a walk later on just to get some movement in today. Had a couple of weetabix for breakfast and lunch will be the last portion of my minestrone soup. Dinner will be sausage casserole with a massive pile of broccoli on the side.

Thanks for posting @TakeItEazy . At least you've avoided Covid yourself which has to be a positive.😊 Seems like your DH is stuck on one of the endless waiting lists, poor man. 🤞🏼 he gets some news soon.
Have a great holiday when it comes @joedenise. We really do need to organise something. I feel as if I've stayed at home for so long that now I CBA to do anything. 🤔
Hopefully you'll get away with yesterday @MrsRyan , at least for this WI. It's rare to gain weight overnight. Isn't it??😉
I know what you mean about no food being inherently 'bad' @ruby_eskimo. Even so called junk food can be OK in moderation although most has little nutritional value. I can honestly say that I prefer not to eat it since starting SW. I genuinely enjoy 'healthy' food. I wish I could say the same for the empty calories in wine though! 🤣
Today's menu looks better than what you had yesterday @klew356. Definitely a strange combination for dinner.
Let us know how you get on with drinking more water @Jellybaby. It certainly won't do any harm. I seem to drink loads of tea and just the large glass of squash in the mornings. I think the tea must help though as I'm not dehydrated at all.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), HEB toast, HEA1 milk, fried egg, bacon (P)
L- JP (F) with cottage cheese, ham (P), spring onion, pickles (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S) with pasta (F), HEA 2 Parmesan
Syns- 0

All fluid apart from alcohol hydrates that's why tea is OK. I only really drink tea during the day and then a can or two of fizzy in the evening, quite often with a short in it! I never feel dehydrated either.
Four portions of savoury mince have gone into the freezer and 2 portions are in the fridge to turn into cottage pie for dinner tonight. Really looking forward to it as DH said it was really tasty when he pinched some last night!
I'm like you @maman and much prefer healthy food as opposed to junk. I very rarely eat junk and don't really enjoy it when I do indulge - don't like wasting the syns either!
