Morning all! Well done on your total loss so far @klew356
Feeling rather tired today so just did some yoga when I woke up this morning but think that's made me even more sleepy 😆 Had bacon and scrambled egg for breakfast with an orange and lunch will be the rest of the minestrone I made yesterday (was very enjoyable). Dinner tonight will probably be soybean stew and rice as I have some tofu to use up which will go nicely in there with the veggies I have too.
Hope you all have a good day!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Change of plan with the batch cooking: As I had so much different veg decided to go with a SC full of savoury mince using some mince from the freezer. Also can't believe how many leeks I still had left! I thought my large saucepan would be big enough but no so have ended up having to use the base of my 6l pressure cooker and it's about 3/4 full so plenty of leek and potato soup to be frozen!
There's only enough swede and carrots for a couple of portions of mash but it's better than wasting it. Think there are probably about 6-8 portions of savoury mince in the SC. Was going to make Fakeaway KFC tomorrow night but think I'll leave the chicken in the freezer and use some of the savoury mince for dinner tomorrow instead.

It's a good feeling when you can use up food and make yourself HM ready meals at the same time @joedenise. I hate waste. You could make a cottage pie with some of the savoury mince topped with the carrot & swede. We're having that later in the week although probably with potato, although I have been adding carrot and BNS as I just love the way the BNS makes mash so smooth.
Last week I bought some frozen BNS chunks from Aldi. It's £1.30 per kg which is better value than fresh from Sainsbury's and without the peeling and waste! I do the same with frozen leeks from Farmfoods. I still occasionally buy fresh ones (especially YS) but it's so easy reaching for frozen.
It's good that your mum passed on some SW friendly bread @Jellybaby. I was looking at the Aldi bread last week and it's so difficult as many of the really 'healthy' looking loaves are really white or just brown with some seeds scattered over them. I'm really enjoying the Lidl rye bread at the moment.
I bought some pickled red cabbage this week too. I love it and the large jars only seem to appear at Christmas time so I'll stock up over the next few weeks.
Good to know that the yoga relaxed you @ruby_eskimo. I so admire your motivation to exercise so early in the day. Keeping strong, supple and a good posture are as important as the fat burning IMO.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEB toast. HEA milk
L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- veggie chilli (P,S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)

I'm planning on using some of the savoury mince for cottage pie tomorrow night but with potato as DH isn't overly keen on the carrot & swede mash so I will probably end up with most of that with a Sunday roast and he'll just have a spoonful as a taste!
Two portions of leek and potato soup are in the freezer; two portions in the fridge for lunch tomorrow. The swede and carrot mash is already in the freezer. The savoury mince will be portioned up and frozen later this evening or more likely tomorrow morning!

Thank you @maman and @bubbs , still like to keep chipping away at it, I know what my target weight is but I have a preferable size I would like to be as well which I think is more me.
Today I do things back to front as I think it works better for me as it is a spinning night and I am home late
B fruit and fibre ss milk
L dirty macaroni side of mashed turnip.
D lentil soup
I have my main at lunchtime as I don’t want to eat my main meal late when I get home from spin so I will have a mug of soup a shower and head to bed – and hopefully no snacking in between

Swapping your meals around makes perfect sense with your evening exercise classes @klew356. Before I got together with DH, I was able to have a good meal at work for lunch and then I was happy to have a bowl of cereal in the evening. 😁
I aimed for a dress size rather than a target weight. The weight was just a number I remembered from years previously. It seemed an impossible dream at the time! Even now, although I go to WI every 8 weeks, I use my clothes as a guide for how I'm doing.1 -
