Hi all
Sorry I been quiet. My MH not good again. I just discovered today that you’re cut off from the app if you haven’t been to group for two weeks- think that’s a little bit unfair, especially if you’ve been ill, as I have.Sunday’s food:
B: Scrambled egg and tomatoes on toast (HEXB +4)
Snack: HiFi (3)
L: Teriyaki salmon (2 for the sauce) stir Fry and noodles. Chocolate (4.5)
D- Chicken salad and couscous (0.5) blueberries, yoghurt and choc shot (3)
Syns: 17

Mrs R I am sorry you are suffering, take care x
I have never heard that in all my time going SW it's usually 8 weeks as far as I am aware , I'd look into that

Morning all. Like @bubbs said @Mrs_Ryan that's can't be right. Get in touch with your consultant to get it sorted out. I've never heard of that before. I'm not sure it's 8 weeks for everyone though I know it is for target members, I would have thought that your consultant should have marked you down as being sick or authorised absence so that you are not cut off from the app.
Weather is looking pretty good again today with no rain forecast. Definitely cold but sure it will be OK when we have to go out later, I need some shopping and usually go on a Tuesday but DH will have the car tomorrow as he's playing golf! Sometimes it's a bit of a pain only having one car rather than the two we used to have but we just can't justify two cars financially on retirement money!
Have had to change the menu plan over the next few days as the duck was off after I'd defrosted it, the smell was awful! So we ended up with a plate of boulanger potatoes and lots of veg followed by a couple of of pancakes with lemon & sweetener so 4.5 syns used but I went without my rum as thought I ought to have food rather than drink!
Today's plan:
B - cheese on toast - HEA2; HEB; P; F
L - carrot, lentil & coriander soup - P; S; F
D - garlic chicken, mash, green veg - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, I find the consultants can be quite brutal @MrsRyan! I know when I missed class a few months back due to Covid, I was cut off from the Facebook page and app a few weeks in. I was eventually added back into the FB group but think it was due to my friends querying it but was off again a week or so later. I know it's a business but do think some consultants could be a bit more caring.
Today's food will be HEB bran flakes, f/f yoghurt and berries for breakfast, lunch bubble and squeak from leftover veg with pickles and dinner pork medallions, roast potatoes, roasted broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and tomatoes. HEA in coffee leaving the other A and syns if I want something for supper.
I've gone back to a weekly syn bank as I much prefer it1 -
Morning all! Busy weekend, went for a 10 mile (only)
) walk on Saturday along the Thames, weather was fab. Stopped to get a coffee for lunch (I supply the food so SW friendly!), unfortunately my aunt spotted cake, so bought a slice of carrot cake to share, it was divine, but the guilt!
Yesterday was spent doing the usual stuff we need to do at home, washing, cleaning, ironing, shopping............ It was 6 before I thought of dinner, so opted for JP with beans, mushrooms & tomatoes. Really enjoyed it, not what you you have as a first choice for Sunday dinner, but was full. Had some melon later but for some reason my stomach was screaming for food about 1am, woke me, but I told it to go back to sleep
Did something this morning that I have not done before, bunged a roast in the slow cooker, hoping it will be ok as that is literally all that is in the thing. At least then all I need to do after class is cook some veg.
Have a good week everyone.A smile costs little but creates much0 -
@Gettingtherequickly I've done roast chicken in the slow cooker but I usually put a 3 or 4 balls of foil under it so that the juices drip through. It's lovely and because the skin doesn't crisp up nobody wants to eat it (so that's a good win!). I've never just done any other meat in there but have done it with putting chopped veg underneath. Works really well.

Morning all. Not a lot of time this morning so a quick stop by. Feeling rather bloated and therefore have gained again this week. Not getting too disheartened by it, but always seem to struggle at this time of year. Did manage to drag myself out of bed early today so I could start back on some exercise after being sick the last couple of weeks. Felt good to do that again! Have to drop a parcel off in town later and will walk there and back to get some more steps in rather than drive.
Had porridge made with almond milk along with blueberries and a teaspoon of honey this morning. Lunch is going to be lentil and vegetable soup from the freezer and dinner is yet more lentils but this time in a dhal with some rice. Trying a new dhal recipe that uses a base of roasted and then pureed butternut squash, which I'm actually subbing for carrots as I have loads to use up in the fridge (plus I love the taste of roasted carrot). Will report back tomorrow on if it was a success or not.

Good morning all,
I lost 1.25 this week which took me into the next stone down which I’m chuffed about.
I did have burger and chips yesterday but I didn’t eat a lot else so hoping the kcals evened themselves out.
I am making lasagne tonight, I use less mince and more veg to make a sw friendly like Bolognese, the sauce I make from scratch but I prefer it that way. I think if im going to have lasagne il have more veg on the side or salad (not in winter) to combat the extra syns in the sauce – yummy!
Im spinning twice this week too so that will help. If it stays dry tonight il bash out a decent walk. I quite like walking in the dark – much prefer summer though!
B – missed it this morning – not like me but went for a walk checked the time and didn’t have time for a bowl of cereal
L – soup and picky bits
D – lasagne and veg
Later in the week it will be chicken curry

Well done on your loss @klew356 and a new number on the scales is always a great motivator! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Good to know that you're feeling well enough to start exercising again @ruby_eskimo. I'm sure you'll soon get back into the swing of things. 😊
I think the 8 weeks is only automatic for target members @MrsRyan and even then the app nags away for about 4 weeks of that but I always skip the message. I think your consultant has to manually put something in to allow access if you aren't at target and haven't paid. I think you'll have to contact her for help. Do ask if there's anything we can help you with, any syn values or anything.
Hopefully sharing a slice of carrot cake shouldn't be too disastrous @Gettingtherequickly. Hope your meat turns out OK. 🤔
What a shame about the duck @joedenise. At least you didn't go hungry.
I'm definitely with you on the weekly syn bank @Jellybaby. I'm sure @joedenise and @bubbs have tried 'by the book' daily syns as an experiment and it doesn't seem to make any difference to weightloss.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S)
L- cold pork (P), potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- baked salmon (P), cubed potatoes (F), carrots, green beans, broccoli, tomato, mushrooms (S)
Syns- 0
