Great news @beanielou. 🤗0

Have decided I am going to face the music and go to WI today at the group in the next big town. Really hoping that the scales there are nearer what my scales say! If they are then I will be back in target in time for my holiday! If not I could actually have another week and go to the same group again next week as that will be the day before I go on holiday!
Back later with results and menu plan!

Morning all, can't believe it's Wednesday already. I'm putting together a list of the food and drinks I'll need over Christmas but won't be shopping for any treat items until the week before!
Today's food:
B - sweet omelette, f/f Greek yog, banana, berries, skinny syrup
L - lentil soup
D - chicken stir fry, sweet chilli sauce
Syns - 0.5 syrup, 1.5 chilli sauce
Have a good day.0 -
Morning all!
Will hopefully be back to running next week @maman, had to stop due to being ill and will need to switch to early afternoon runs as the mornings and evenings are a lot darker!
I've already put my list together for Christmas @Jellybaby just need to start buying it all now - will hopefully be able to pick up gammon joint and turkey this weekend to stash in the freezer.
Did another work out this morning and think I'll need to go for another walk this evening to try and stop my legs from getting too stiff; there were lots of squats and lunges involved! Had scrambled egg on toast for breakfast this morning - I've realised I can actually eat scrambled egg if I put some tabasco on it 😆 Not sure I can quite bring myself to try omelette yet though, one texture at a time I think. Lunch is more lentil and vegetable soup and dinner will be dhal and rice that I've been harping on about for a week 😏
Oh and my parents sent us some "fancy" mince pies yesterday which are HUGE, have a layer of brandy butter in them and taste amazing - I shared one with DH because eating 1 by yourself is way too much. They can be frozen so will be wrapping them up and storing them away until December so I'm not too tempted by them (I absolutely love mince pies 😍😋)
Right back to work, hope you all have a good day.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Back again. Went to WI and was absolutely amazed to find I've lost 2lb in 5 days! I felt pretty sure the consultants scales weren't right last week and I'm even more convinced of that now! This consultant is still keeping to Covid safe protocols - face coverings when walking around, whilst paying and weighing; still having to wear shoes to weigh (well that's probably an extra half pound I've lost really!). It definitely felt much safer than where I've been going so may well swap to this group in the new year after my holidays. This of course means I'm back in target and so need to pay or book holidays (apart from the NYE which I've already booked).
Today's plan:
B - baked oats with raspberries - HEB; S; F;1
L - hash with an odd Linda McCartney red onion and rosemary sausage I found in the freezer topped with fried eggs - P; S; F
D - jerk beef stew; rice 'n' peas - P; S; F; 1.5
HEA - milk
HEB - oats
Syns - cooked raspberries 1; 50ml light coconut milk 1.5
Have a good afternoon and evening.

What a relief @joedenise. You must be absolutely delighted. I’m thrilled for you! It’s such a great feeling knowing you don’t have to worry when you go away.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I’m much more organised than usual for Christmas @Jellybaby. I ran down the freezer enough to fit in a turkey. I’ve already made the pigs in blankets. They’re mammoth sized ones but I wanted to be sure I could get the low syn sausages. I choose my treats carefully so I’ve already bought my favourite chocolate (cherry liqueurs and chocolate marzipan) and a pudding and hidden those away. I’d be so disappointed if I couldn’t get what I like. I still need to get some Celebrations and M&S biscuits for DH but they could be in the house all year and I wouldn’t eat one. I need some gammon, crisps and crackers (thinking of getting the M&S ones that @bubbs posted) then it’s mostly fresh stuff. Needless to say I bought plenty of wine when it was 25% off in Sainsbury’s.🤣
Scrambled eggs are nice with Worcester sauce too @ruby_eskimo . I’m having a bit of an eggy day today but I have lots of bits of veg I want to use up.
Today’s EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- Veggie omelette (P,S), pickles (S)
D- Sausages, mash, LO HB gravy (F), carrots, onions, cauli, broccoli, cabbage (S)
Syns- BGTY sausages 2

Wow Denise, that is a stunning loss, especially for you! You must be chuffed to meatball knowing you can relax now.A smile costs little but creates much0

Thank you @maman & @Gettingtherequickly - I'm absolutely over the moon! Love the phrase chuffed to meatballs GTQ! I'm considering swapping to this group in the new year. It's further to go but the group seems to be friendlier and I know the consultant from when she used to be a member at my old group (she was already a consultant) so known her for many years. Will make a decision when I come back from France.

Afternoon all,
Later one today. food hasn’t been great but could have been worse. My colleagues last day yesterday and we had lunch the 3 of us at the local mart, big portions of ham and cheese toasties, coleslaw and proper chips. Delicious and was full all day,. Felt guilty but hey ho! Very little to eat last night after spin so hopefully damage limitation!
Its LO lasagne tonight, not sure what with yet but one thing I know, im hungry!
Big walk with the doggy pending
