I wouldn't think there's much room in your fridge for cottage cheese or anything else! 🤣

@maman - I use the Schwartz cheese sauce mix which is 7 syns for the pack.  Supposed to be 4 portions but it only uses 300mls of milk so DH and I have half each so 4 syns each!

Don't make the mistake of getting the Colmans one though - it used to be 8 syns but it's now been doubled to 16!

@joedenise aaarrgghh it’s Colman’s I’ve used in the past!  Good to know and I’ll be buying Schwartz if I need it.

I used to use the Colman's one when it was only 8 syns for the pack so 4 syns each but I think it was about 18 months or so ago they doubled the syns.  No idea why as I can't see any difference in the ingredients list!

Looks to be a lovely morning, don't know if it's cold though as not been outside yet but it's very bright and doesn't look as though there's any wind.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
    L - cheeseburger & onions in wholemeal roll - HEB; S; 3
    D - roast duck; boulanger potatoes; green veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - roll
Syns - sausages 2; cheese slice 2.5; burger 0.5; may have a couple of rum & ginger beer tonight so another 5

    Have a good day everyone.

Thanks for the cheese sauce info. I'll definitely get a packet of the Schwartz mix to try. 😊

Not seen @TakeItEazy for a few weeks now. I do hope she and her DH are OK? 🤔🤗

I'll come back and edit in lunch menu when I've decided what to have. And I must try very hard to keep away from the pork crackling today. 😉

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, fried eggs, bacon (P)
    L- JP(F), veggie chilli (P, S) beetroot (S), cottage cheese (P)
D- JO roast pork (P), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
    Syns- gravy 4, weekend wine😋

Made some pate, scotch eggs, crumble for dh

I had ham salad soft pitta earlier with pickled onions, they are lovely from M&S best i have had in ages, £1.50 a big jar so no dearer than anywhere else.

Roast chicken and veg for tea, yorkies 2 syns, gravy 4 syns, stuffing 3 syns

Good preparation for the coming week @bubbs. 👍

I like Sainsburys pickled shallots, hot and spicy. Not cheap though. ☹️
