@joedenise - I had heard something about an extra He but not the workings of it

I think I am going to bite the bullet so to speak and go and join group tomorrow morning at 9.30, not point putting it off is there! I'm not sure I'm ready to know the numbers just yet but don't think I could do a blind weigh then carry my book around with me without looking

    Today was:
breakfast - two hard boiled egg, tea with milk
lunch - ham sandwich with no butter, 1 tbsp mayo using 2 slices from a small loaf
tea - paprika chicken and mash served with steamed sweetcorn, carrots and tender stem broccoli. nothing added to my mash; syns in the paprika chicken from the milk (250ml whole milk), 15g butter, 1tbsp oil plus 2tsp cornflour (though those made 7 portions, not all in one portion)

paprika chicken and mash served with steamed sweetcorn, carrots and tender stem broccoli. nothing added to my mash; syns in the paprika chicken from the milk (250ml whole milk 8 syns), 15g butter, 5.5 1tbsp oil plus 2tsp cornflour (though those made 7 portions, not all in one portion)

    I make the paprika chicken 3 syns per portion - 8+5.5+6+1 = 20.5/7 = 3

Not sure if you'd already worked it out but here's the workings anyway!

Morning all, what horrible weather overnight and this morning!  Need to go shopping later but wanted something specific from Tesco so DH decided to do Click and Collect for part of the order!  Most of it is still going to come from Lidl so we'll be out for some time!  Won't be able to go until after lunch as getting the boiler serviced about 11 this morning so arranged the C&C for 12-2.

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese on toast - HEA2; HEB; F
    L - salmon fishcake; boiled potatoes; salad - P; S; F; 2.5
    D - beef casserole; mash; green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - butter 5; low fat salad dressing 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

I hadn't worked it out yet and that is a lot lower than expected so yay! Thank you :)

Off to join group this morning, just don't the school run and am now drenched 😬 got 45mins until group starts. My mum is so sweet she's given me the money to join plus a 6 week countdown and for me the latest magazine 💜

Good luck for your SW journey @lushlifesaver.  Can you let me know if that's the magazine with the calendar please?  It's one of the few that I buy but of course we didn't get one last year because of Covid.

My starting weight is almost exactly what I'd estimated

     No, no calendar yet

There's a sweet little christmas planner in the 'shop' but no calendar yet.

Morning all!  Good luck @lushlifesaver , it's so lovely that you have the support of your mum and new partner.

Think I might be lucky with another maintain next Monday as a massive box of 12 brownies appeared through my letterbox yesterday - present from my best friend for graduation!  Cut them into small portions and froze half for later but will probably nibble on the rest throughout the week (they are very very good, lots of different flavours).  Might have over indulged in them last night so haven't felt hungry for breakfast yet today, so will probably just move straight on to lunch when I've got back from taking DH for a PCR test (99% sure it's just a cold but he wants to be sure).  Feeling a lot better myself today 👍  Lunch is going to be more soup (well it's more like a stew really considering all the veg I chucked in there!) and then dinner tonight is more veggies in black bean sauce with noodles.

Hope you all have a good day!
