Afternoon everyone! Finally caught up with all your posts, I’ve had a bit of a write off week!
started off with my head just not in it, then I started with headaches and a sort throat that’s progressed into an absolutely stonking cold. I was wfh Friday and just thought it’s crazy that pre corona id have got on the tram and into work feeling like this and actually would have felt horrendously guilty just for considering being off or saying I need to wfh for a cold. It’s one think I hope actually stays changed and we lose the almost moral obligation to go in the office unless you literally cannot walk, or see or function in any way as a human. I had a previous employer that paid all staff £100 each six months if you had no sick days so everyone would go in and curl up behind their desks and die at work muttering that it was worth the £100 to us to do it. obviously we all then would go down with whatever it was room by room as everyone else in the firm did the same and spread it round!
that’s crazy about your friend @bubbs. I’m still waiting for a referral for the long covid clinic but thankfully I’ve nowhere near affects like that. This cold has gone straight to my chest so I’m hoping it’s not more weeks and weeks of coughing again. I don’t want to have to end up avoiding people and shielding so I reduce my chances of getting colds but I can’t face all winter having a cough like this on and off, currently it’s been a cycle of what others get as two or three day colds max goes to straight my chest and I’m back on the inhalers and coughing for weeks. But covid doesn’t affect the young 🙄0 -
There seems to be a 'super cold' about @evilsquid1603. My DH had it and of course (being a man) suffered for weeks. Hope you feel better soon.😊
My DD1 just tested positive for Covid. Not surprising really as she's a teacher and her Teaching Assistant and several children have it and there are very few restrictions in place. ☹️
Another perplexing result @bubbs. We all seem to have drawn a blank about why. The only positive thing is you're not gaining. 🤔
Your mum is doing SW brilliantly on her own @MrsRyan. Much cheaper when you know the plan.
Hope your meal is OK tonight @joedenise. I'm just drawing a line under mine. I had potted shrimps which were very fatty. Then Moules Frites which were better. They were in a cream sauce but I didn't eat that. Then chips and wine syns. ☹️

Evilsquid hope you soon feel better my DH had it, he looked awful and said his chest felt like someone punching him in it, took about 2 weeks to clear, could hear his chest rattling
Maman, im going to try how i used to do the plan this week, very few potatoes/carbs, no fuss about hexa and b and see what happens, if i gain i know not to do it again 😂
Cutting the fruit has made no difference , good mind to go back to pizza and that , least i have my syns 😏Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

Hiya
Still proper down in the dumps about not dropping any sizes. Had a row with mum as she reckons that I can’t be losing weight but I am for sure. I know for a fact I’ve lost just under 2.5 stone. Normally I’m really quick at dropping sizes and start dropping straight away but it was really disheartening to put on a pair of size 24 leggings tonight and they fit fine. Not even a little bit big. There are some things that feel big but not in the realms of needing to go down a size. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror tonight as I was about to get changed and caught off guard I do look like I’ve lost weight but I just can’t feel it 😭
Saturday’s food:
B: Scrambled Eggs and tomatoes on toast (HEXB +4 for spread)
L: SW meal pot and veg, chocolate (4.5)
D- SW lamb kebab (1 syn for the garlic paste. 0.5 syn for couscous) HiFi bar (3)
S: Gin and Diet Tango (0.5 syn- it’s 0.0 gin) Crisps (6.5)
Syns: 20

Try to just focus on the numbers on the scales @MrsRyan . The dress sizes will follow eventually. It took me ages to drop a dress size but that was probably because I was previously wearing clothes that were too small or just choosing styles that disguised my real size. It was knowing that I'd have to buy work trousers in a bigger size that persuaded me to go to SW.
This week I'm going to have to put stuff in the freezer. I'm running low on HM ready meals and my precooked stuff like swede mash, butter beans and brown rice. Last swede will be used today. I find it so much easier to cook a batch and I'd never want to eat a large swede in one week either. I like it, but not that much.😁
I had a small piece of chocolate last night (about 3 syns). I just fancied a chocolate taste with a cuppa, probably because I was tired. I know it's nothing in the scheme of things but I much prefer weeks when I can keep track of syns properly but eating out is putting paid to that.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), HEA milk
L- JP (F), veggie chilli (P,S), cottage cheese (P, beetroot (S)
D- JO roast pork (P), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4, weekend wine😁0 -

Doubt it Maman as it was starting to upset dh's tummy, think it was the pizza.
Mrs R, don't be down in the dumps we are all different sizes, i was talking to a lady i talk to in group, she openly said what she weighed, to say i was gob smacked was an understatement , she looks nothing like she weighs, looks thinner, she is actually heavier than me and i am fatter than her.
This is me 12lb lighter at target, I will NEVER be a size 12/14, this is size 18!! , most people say no way 18 but it is, do not let it de rail you x,
