That is ridiculous, all these protective methods in place which are useless to her. I had to hit the panic alarm at work many years ago, reassuring to know I could do it, shame it didn’t turn out to be the silent alarm to the police station that it was supposed to be😀

That's brilliant @Gettingtherequickly. The scales were kind but only because of you!! Well done. 👏👏👏0

Hellooooo!Blimey 125 new posts!
Well I had a lovely time when I was away. I was good sometimes but not others 😂
My naughtiness extended to: Friday (before I went) a KFC bucket shared with OH. Saturday on my way to Exeter: Sandwiches (they were Boots Shapers though) Saturday evening: An Italian meal (meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce, then baked salmon with a tomato Ragu and sweet potato fries) Sunday morning: Fry up (yes I had sausages. And bread and butter 😂) Sunday evening: McDonalds wrap and large fries (I was going to go to Wetherspoons but there was a massive queue)My actual birthday on Monday: Wetherspoons Fry up complete with toast and real butter; lunch a Boots meal deal (chicken tikka flatbread) dinner was chicken wings, a crispy duck salad and sweet potato fries. Tuesday breakfast was Wetherspoons Eggs Benedict. In among all that lot there was a couple of 0.0 beers as well.
Unbelievably I hadn’t gained when I came back but given the fact I had walked 20000 steps on Monday alone I’m not really surprised.
I’ve had one or two tummy troubles though which seem to have resolved themselves with a vengeance though so I’m hoping for a decent loss this week.I’m away again next week but not until the end of the week so I have one clear week to be totally on plan. I’ve meal planned and made a shopping list- going shopping tomorrow when OH gets paid so I’m quite focused.Today’s food:
B: Bacon sandwich with HEXB. 6 Syns for spread and ketchup
L: SW naked beef burrito meal pot, broccoli and cauli
D- Jacket sweet potato with HEXA laughing cow, tuna, sweetcorn and salad. 1 syn for Mayo. Chocolate (4.5)
S: Crisps (6.5)
Syns: 17Mum has been on a diet too. She’s gone from a size 20/22 to a size 14 and yet I’m still in my size 24’s- I don’t seem to have budged at all despite having lost nearly 2.5 stone. It’s getting quite depressing as it seems every time I call her she’s buying new, smaller clothes. I have some size 22 jeans that I can just about get into and I’ve noticed my football shirts are a little bit baggier but that’s it 😭Not fair- I want smaller clothes too 😂

That seems absolutely ridiculous @bubbs about your friend. Agree with @beanielou a panic button under the desk would sort the problem.
Well done @Gettingtherequickly on the 1.5lb loss. Great result. Can't say the same for myself this week - it's a lb gain but was expected as have gone over syns so now out of top end of target. Really must get back on plan as need to go to WI end of the month or possibly 1st week of next and want to be in target range as going on holiday the week after!
Well done @Mrs_Ryan on your maintain. Good that you've got a clear week so will be able to stick to plan.
Today's plan:
B - overnight oats - HEB; S; F
L - jacket potato, tuna mayo, salad - P; S; F; 1.5
D - KFC; chips, beans, corn on the cob - P; F
HEA - milk
HEB - oats
Syns - LTL mayo 1; salad dressing 0.5
Have a good day everyone.

That's a shame about the small gain @joedenise but not too big to claw back.
Maybe all the toing and froing has balanced off some of your food choices @MrsRyan. Hopefully you'll get a loss at next WI as you're now back on plan. Your mum has done amazingly well. Is she doing SW?
I'm noticing a lot more social occasions creeping up on me but I'm trying to be philosophical about it. We've waited so long to be able to get out and about again that I'm not going to turn down invitations. I've had a good week this week so that's about the best I can do for now.
I've had my SW breakfast (bacon and egg) and have a stir fry planned for lunch . For tonight, I've seen some fishy things on the restaurant menu online that I fancy but there will be wine and probably some bread unless any specials look more SW friendly. I'll report back.😊

Evening everyone
Mum is doing SW but she’s going it alone. She previously lost 11 stone on SW so she said she knows what to do. I am getting the losses I’m just not losing any inches 😭husband says I look thinner but my clothes don’t feel any different. I’ve gone down one size in underwear and I have some size 20 leggings but I’m pretty much the same size still in everything. Just a bit disheartening when mum keeps banging on about how many dress sizes she’s dropped and I’m still in the same sizes I was when I was 2.5 stone heavier 😭
Today’s food:
B: Porridge (7) HEXA milk and blueberries
L: Sausage sarnie (HEXB + 5.5 for spread and ketchup)
Snack- felt a bit shaky so had a HiFi bar (3)
D- sea bass, baby new potatoes, mixed veg. Chocolate (4.5)
S: Chicken thighs
Syns: 20
Lots of love to you all xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Morning all, weather looking good at the moment so getting a machine load of washing done but it will be going on the airer as we are meeting up with my friend and going to stay overnight as she lives quite a way away now. We're also going to be eating out tonight. I've looked at the menu and there's not much SW friendly but I'll do my best!
@Mrs_Ryan - don't compare yourself to your mum we're all different. I'm sure your size will change soon, just keep at it.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F
L - chicken sandwich - HEB; 1
D - not sure but syns available!
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - LTL mayo instead of spread 1; syns for dinner and alcohol (will probably stick to G&Ts rather than wine)
Have a good day everyone.
