    Morning all,

In work bright and early after a fairly good nights sleep, makes a change from last week!

Half a pound…. On ! I totally expected it, but have been fairly good this weekend. I did the spinsane yesterday to raise money for a community defib. 4 classes back to back – 3 hours – 68 miles on the bike. Loved it but it was hard. Burnt over 2500 calories so hopefully that will help this week!

B – fruit and fibre ss milk

    L – boursin soup Ryvita

    D – sausage casserole

Morning all.  Well done a loss @bubbs, every little bit helps as they say!  And well done on your spin challenge @klew356, sounds like a crazy challenge but well worth it.

Pleased to report 3.2lbs off this week.  Think that's mainly water weight but hey ho, it's going down again at least.  Feeling a lot better after the jabs, ended up finishing work early on Friday and then falling asleep on the sofa for a few hours which helped.  Arm with the Covid jab is still a bit achy and the lymph nodes have swollen a bit under the arm but it's perfectly fine and shows that it's doing its thing.  Went to a wedding reception last night so I made a roast dinner which we had about 3pm which I'm glad about because they didn't serve any food at the reception till 9:45pm!  By then it was way too late for us to eat and most of the day guests were too drunk to even think about food 😆  Snuck a tiny bit of wedding cake from the buffet but that was it.

Have a bit of a busy week coming up; only working today and tomorrow and then meeting some friends for dinner tomorrow night, Wednesday its my graduation ceremony from my second masters degree and Thursday we have a funeral that we have to travel for.  Keeping up the good habits where I can - breakfast today was porridge (can tell it's turned colder 😏) with blueberries, lunch is yet more of the never ending lentil soup and dinner is sausage and bean stew with lots of veg chucked in there.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning all, didn't really clear up here yesterday.  I still hung the washing out but it didn't do anything so just left it and it's actually dry this morning so will get it in shortly, just before I hang out the next load which is currently in the machine!  Motorhome bedding won't get done for another day or two!

Those mini sub rolls look good @bubbs but don't get to M&S very often.  I buy the Asda wholemeal rolls, 6 in a pack, flour dusted and split, for our burgers which are a good size for HEB and fairly cheap.  Think the last lot I bought were 79p.  Need to buy some more for the freezer and used the last of them yesterday so will pop into Asda on the way over to Lidl tomorrow.

Wow that was a lot of exercise yesterday - makes me feel tired just reading it!  The Boursin soup sounds interesting - recipe please!

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette; followed by some fruit - HEA2; P; S; F
L - 100g whitebait; followed by baked apple with mincemeat, yoghurt - HEB, F; 6
    D - chana masala, pilau rice - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
HEB - baked apple with mincemeat
    Syns - whitebait 6

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, well done to all those losing, exercising and just generally busy!   I was not a happy bunny on Saturday morning - another pound on!  Where is it coming from?!  Totally scunnered but will keep plodding.

B - 45g bran flakes HEB, ff Greek yoghurt, raspberries
L - pea and ham soup
D - gammon steak, veggie hash, broccoli, green beans

HEXA1 will be used for coffee throughout the day

Looking at your menu plan for today @Jellybaby I can't see any syns.  Are you having them but not recording them here?  As you know syns are part of the plan.  I know that if I don't have enough I either maintain or even have a gain - it could be the same for you.

Saved myself 6 syns - the whitebait was horrible so didn't eat it!  DH didn't eat his either.  Don't know what it was but just didn't taste nice.  The baked apple was extremely sour so probably only ate about half of that so only counting half HEB.  Will have a couple of crackers later with probably some Primula Light.

Brilliant loss @ruby_eskimo. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Hope your graduation goes well and many congratulations. 😉

That sounds like an epic spin @klew356 and in a good cause too. Hopefully all the calories used up will help you too.

Perhaps it was the previous weekend catching up that gave you that gain @Jellybaby but sticking to plan since will show up eventually too. Do you keep a running total of syns used? I try to do that when I'm trying to lose rather than maintain. 🤔

Your lunch sounds like a disaster @joedenise with both the fish and the apple. Hope you don't get too hungry before dinner.

I'm out again this evening so another early dinner. It's good that lots of the things I like to do are starting up again but not enjoying the messing around with meal times. Last week I had a few melba toasts in the late evening. Only a few syns but not something I'd normally bother with.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- cold chicken (P), fried veg and beetroot (S)
D- baked salmon (P), potato cubes (F), mushrooms, tomatoes, green stuff
    Syns- 0

I may have garlic mushrooms if I feel like them with the salmon so can use second HEA if needed.

Thanks @joedenise I don't tend to use a lot of syns during the week and if I'm having them will record here but usually use them for alcohol, bread or whatever with meals at the weekend but do keep within the allowance.   Will try using them up daily along with As and B this week and see if that makes any difference!

It's certainly worth a try @Jellybaby to use your syns daily but have to say it made absolutely no difference when I did that!  Like you I prefer to use most of my syns at the weekend and work the weekly syn bank.

I'm hoping I don't get hungry before dinner @maman but if necessary I'll have some fruit or something to tide me over.
