🤞 for tomorrow @bubbs. At least you're eliminating possible issues.

I had a 1 syn pack of lovely prawns with garlic and parsley tonight. YS in Waitrose, just for a treat. But worth knowing if you need to buy something on the move.

  • Good news about your sister Bubbs.

Hope everyone achieves what they would like on scales.

Went to see The Windsor’s last night, stage production of the C4 show, very funny. If you have not seen it, they take the mick out of all the royal family, except the queen & d o e, they were unmerciful about Andrew! As we were eating in Chinatown, I assumed it would be Chinese, but we actually had Vietnamese, it was disappointing as the food has really good reviews, but we were only allowed our table for 1 hour (and it had been booked!) and the service was chaotic. Maybe we chose the wrong thing to eat, but the only thing that was actually nice was the stir fried duck, so syns were actually lower than I expected,  but we did have an ice cream in the theatre, checked the syns this morning, 10 1/2, but it was worth it and I am going to say I was possibly 5 over for the day, which is fine, got the rest of the week to recover😀 Got to do body magic though, I kept saying that we had stalls tickets but the staff at the theatre sent me to the flippin’ top of the circle, which I would never have booked as I don’t like heights, 3 people looked at the tickets, las one apologised, but it was not actually his fault as he was quite right to assume that as his colleagues has sent us there, that is where we were supposed to be. Then when we came out, my aunt couldn’t remember where she parked her bike, so we spent 20 mins walking round Leicester Sq looking for it, so maybe the 5 may be too high!

At least you lost @bubbs.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 It can often take more than one week to see results. Have you got a plan for this week? Any advice from your consultant?

I suppose it's a bit daunting at first but i really didn't have a problem getting used to the plan. It was because it's so simple with almost no measuring that attracted me to it.

We enjoyed the sausages last night with the balsamic and honey sauce. DH was particularly pleased with it so we'll have it again.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP (F) cottage cheese (P), spring onions, tomatoes and beetroot (S)
D- UB Sweet and Sour chicken (P,S) with brown rice (F)
Syns- UB sauce 1.5, weekend wine😊

Yes bit seemed i was missing out on something healthy for little result.

She said more protein one day, well i had ham, whole pot greek yog and beef in my chinese that day 🤔 also where i commented at the bottom, what are you proud of today, the days i put having hexa and hexb, the days i didn't have them i put lacking healthy extras and she put yes i agree with this.

I counted up my syns and for the week was 59 😏 maybe i need to have more? well today i have done ok as had takeaway 11 1/2 and 2 lindor balls 8 syns!! 🤣🤣

Yes but i am not sure she "wants" to do it, she wants to lose weight but i don;t think she wants to put the effort in, she showed me what she ate last week, 1 day was toast,  pot noodle type thing 101/2 syns, i can't think which one it was but i looked the syns up for her and a banana sandwich, that was it, told her that is no good, no fruit, veg, salad, too much bread, no proper food!

Morning all, decided to come home this morning as the weather really wasn't very nice with quite thick fog!  It's brightening up now so have made a start on the washing!  Loads to do as had a basketful before we went away but will do it over the next few days as want to do the motorhome bedding as next time we're likely to get away in it is when we go to France in December.

Glad you got a loss @bubbs but it's possible you really need to have more syns.  I don't seem to lose unless I have the full 105 syns a week but then again I generally only lose 0.5lb a week anyway but I'm quite likely to gain if I only have about half that so well worth trying to have the full amount of syns.

Have gone well over syns over the weekend so will be reining it back in from tomorrow to WI (at home) on Friday to try and pull it back.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon sandwich - HEB; P; 3.5
L - cheese burger in a bun - 10 (forgot I'd already had HEB but have got the buns out of the freezer so need using!)
    D - lamb shank, roast potatoes & veg, green beans & peas - S; F; 2

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 3.5; burger 0.5; cheese slice 2.5; bun 7; lamb shank 2

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all

    Yes boooo Beanie

Welcome home Denise, was REALLY thick fog here yesterday but turned beautiful. I got 4 loads washing dry as did all the bedding too, put the towels on a hot wash last night as they are white and just hung them out now as sun is out. DH is still doing the decking, but he is getting there and it looks so much better, making the most of the good weather!

Yes will try and have more syns this week.

I have got 2 mini sub rolls out to have for lunch, as no hexb planned and i didn't have one yesterday.

Roast pork for tea with veg, yorkies 2, gravy 4

    Ice cream and fruit later.

Syns are lower today as i went over yesterday having those 2 lindt balls for 8 syns but thoroughly enjoyed them

  • Busy hour or so in kitchen, so now have cheeseburger pasta, Cajun chicken, crustless quiche, and chicken, sweet corn & noodle soup, so quite happy with myself.

Btw, forgot to say about the fresh pasta being free now. Our consultant told us it was not supposed to be announced until new year but as it got leaked they had to tell us which probably explains why those who weigh earlier in the week were probably not told.
