Morning all, absolutely horrendous wind and rain last night, everywhere is soaked.  Could really do with some sun to ripen my raspberries!  Seems to be brightening up so have decided to put a machine load of washing on.  The weather for the rest of the week looks pretty good so we've decided to go away for a few days in the motorhome.  Won't go until Thursday as DH is playing in a golf comp tomorrow.

Went way over syns yesterday after opening a bottle of wine!  So line drawn and back on it today.

    B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - 2 pea soup, crackers, Primula Light - F; 3
    D - cauliflower cheese, chips - S; F; 4

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - Primula Light
    HEB - bread
Syns - crackers 3; butter 2; cheese sauce mix 3.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.  Great looking desert as always @bubbs.

Went for a walk last night after work and it absolutely chucked it down just when I was half way round my route.  Very soggy when I came home even if I was wearing my waterproofs and wellies 😆  Did another work out this morning and think I may finally caught up on all my emails after being away.  Had ff yogurt and blueberries for breakfast and more lentil soup for lunch today.  Dinner is a stir fry for me to use up some veg that DH harvested from the garden, with some noodles.  Hope you're all having a good day.

I'm trying to put off starting on woolly jumpers @Jellybaby but it gets really cold about teatime so may have to relent. Glad you enjoyed Pembrokeshire @ruby_eskimo. I know South Wales better than west but I do like Laugharne and around Tenby. Do you ever venture to Wales with the motorhome @joedenise?🤔

I need to make some soup but the freezers are really full at the moment so trying to take stuff out rather than out it in! I know I have savoury mince in there @jellybaby so might tweak the meal plan to use some of that. I'd like some space just in case I want to can buy some Christmas bits in advance.

I have a small confession to make. When I had leftover salad last week because party numbers were down because of Covid, there was also some sourdough bread. I've been having a small slice of that instead of my usual HEB.😮 I really don't know why people rave about it so won't be repeating that experiment but I've ignored the syns when I suppose I should have counted 3 or something each time. 🤔  Fortunately I don't feel fat so I may have got away with it. I need to find a good wholemeal bread that I really like as both my favourites have disappeared from Sainsbury's and Waitrose.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEA toast, HEB milk
L- ham (P), fried veg and beetroot (S)
D- veggie chilli (P,S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese ()
    Syns-0

Not been to Wales or Scotland with the motorhome @maman.  Furthest we've been in the Lake District.  We much prefer to do short breaks fairly locally, within about an hour or so and for longer holidays it's easier to go to France, it's also a lot cheaper as they have overnight places for motorhomes to stay a lot of which are free or less than 10 euros.  Can't get anywhere in the UK for less than about £25-30 a night unless you wild camp but there aren't many places in the South to do that and if you do that you need to get there late and leave early the next morning so it means you need to find somewhere else to park for the day time.

I'm with you on the sourdough @maman.  DH makes his own but I don't really like it so stick with the Morrisons wholemeal.

I've got out some of my home made stew packs and a bag of beef cubes from the freezer and ginger to make a beef casserole tomorrow while DH is out.  Some of which I'll take with us to have one evening in the motorhome.  Need to find another couple of meals in the freezer tomorrow to take as well.  I'm trying to run down the freezer at the moment but it's going very slowly!
