    Evening all
    Another busy one here.
I’ve had so much to do these last few days! There was a washing backlog built up going back to hols so that’s all been dealt with. Just a few bits from the last few days left in the washing basket.
I’ve put away all my summer tops and got my tracksuits and hoodies out again.
I’ve also caught up on phone calls and stuff. Went and did a Morries shop today as well, and restocked my SW lunch pots- that delivery is coming tomorrow.

£91 in Morries for one weeks shop then another £30 on SW meals at Iceland!  It’s Sod’s law though- I ran out of everything at once. I WI at home this morning, and at the moment on SW scales it would be a 2lb loss. It would also be just 1lb off my 1.5 stone award: I should be back at group next week and I’m hoping for my award then.

    Today’s food:
B: Bacon sarnie (4 Syns and HEXB)
D-Fish fingers, couscous, broccoli and cauliflower (all I had left!) (8.5 Syns)
T: Salmon, new pots, mixed veg. Blueberries and yoghurt
    S: Crisps (6.5)
    Syns: 18.5

    lots of love xx

  • Riverdance was fantastic, saw it the first time round when Michael Flatley was  in it so it was nice that it kept to the original & so lovely to see clips from shows at the very beginning of this phenomenon. We had good seats which we gave up to an elderly lady who needed a wheelchair, although she could walk it was limited mobility, so we thought it would be easier for her to have ours as there was no one in front and it was on the aisle, they were so grateful and then bought us ice creams at the interval and had everyone in the row pass them on to us. We passed them on to the ladies beside us😇

I was worried about what we would be eating, but actually had Persian, so rice, lamb & chicken kebab & salad, not that many syns, so I am saying 5, plus half the ice cream dessert, so although probably over,  it was not nearly as bad as it could have been. Proof on scales tomorrow😊
A smile costs little but creates much :)

    Morning all,

Wet and horrible and still not particularly light here, needless to say the dog did not get walked this morning just a shuffle in the back garden, oops!

Not going to be so much body magic today as it will have to be a quick walk tonight as I am meeting a friend for her birthday – no naughty meal out just lack of exercise.

B – fruit and fibre ss milk

L ham salad (ham, boiled egg, herby leaves, celery, spring onion, cucumber spoon of sweetcorn)

D – pot noodle on the go I should imagine

Morning all, it's really grey and damp this morning with a bit of drizzle.  Have a machine load in so that's going to have to go on the airer unless it stops raining soon!

Not planning on doing much today but will have a chat with my sister later.

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs on toast - HEB; P (have run out of spinach so no Speed!)
    L - leek and potato soup - S; F
    D - hunters chicken; jacket potato; green beans & peas - P; S; F; 6 syns

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - mozzarella
Syns - pancetta 6 (using instead of bacon as it needs using up - been in the freezer a while)

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, extremely wet and windy in central Scotland this morning.  I love soup @klew356 and usually have a selection in the freezer as they make quick and easy work lunches.  My all time favourite is lentil but I also make SW pea and ham, tomato and red pepper, mushroom, potato and leek and French onion.  No specific recipes, I google and then use up or adapt as I go.  It's only me eating it and some look a bit dubious (especially mushroom soup!) but as long as I find it tasty I'm happy

    Today's plan:
    B - yoghurt and mango
    L - Spanish omelette
D - chicken penne Romano, parmesan HEXA (DS cooking tonight)

    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day all.

  • Morning all!

@klew356 I normally do a pumpkin or butternut squash and sage soup at this time of year whilst they are in season. They keep really well too if plans change and you can’t do the soup that day. Also solves the what do I do with the innards of the pumpkin now it’s been carved dilemma! I always feel so guilty just binning it all. I usually roast the seeds too.

Scales were broken at the gym on Tuesday so I couldn’t weigh in anyway. Least it gives me a bit more time now until I’m there again on Sunday.

It’s definitely autumn in Manchester, it’s even more grey and miserable that usual and you can tell the temperatures definitely dropped. Ive had to resort to getting the snuggly socks out and the warm ponchos I spent lockdown living in 🤣

Ordered the Christmas planner off the SW shop and it came yesterday so had a flick through ready to start tomorrow as its then 12 weeks to the big day! It’s better than the usual journals as its a bit more like the pinch of nom ones now with recipes and a whole section on Christmas slimming strategies and meal plans as well as the three month daily pages.

Had one of those days yesterday when lack of planning leaves you accidentally having too many HE so had a sneaky green day to limit the syn damage. It’s my own fault, I had porridge for breakfast to warm me up them went to do a WW wrap pizza for lunch and as I was eating thought this is my second HEB and I’m having more cheese for tea!
