Morning!  Blimey @bubbs I want a burger now!  Your dinner looks tremendous.    Glad you've got your car back @beanielou, have you decided yet about the company shop?  I'm off for a long weekend next month and planning a trip to Ikea and now wondering if I should be really adventurous and try and tie in a visit to the company shop   I've got satnav but it always takes me to the wrong places!

    Today's plan:
B - coffee - not hungry yet but have fruit and yoghurt if needed
L - tomato and red pepper soup
D - haddock in breadcrumbs, h/m chips, huge salad

Syns - think it's 4 for 25g of breadcrumbs, 2 for tartare sauce

    Have a good day all!

That really was a thoughtless comment from the consultant @MrsRyan, just like the one who removed @jellybaby from FB when she had Covid. Don't these people think?? Probably not! 🤣 I could never be a consultant as I couldn't stick to the mindless scripts and rules.

A cooked breakfast is pretty safe. I always avoid the sausages and will often have  a couple of hash browns rather than dubious looking bread. Yes, breadcrumbs are between 4 and 4.5 .

We're still ploughing through salad. I just hate wasting food and I have leaves to eat up. I'm not fussed about peppers, onions or tomatoes as I can always cook with those.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
    L- ham (P), mixed salad (S) potato (F)
D- cold chicken (P),. SW chips (F), more salad (S)
Syns- LTL mayo, probably 1 syns worth across the day.

  • @maman I’m the same I could never be a consultant! I’d get told off for being too nice to people or being too honest and going off script 😂

there are some of them that very much treat it as just a business/job and have those slightly “mean girl” ways of trying to get people to come to group. It’s such a shame sometimes as some consultants do genuinely care about the people attending and it’s people first business for doing what I love second but if you have a group where it’s business first and the people are just money in the bank it can be a bit off putting and almost go against the things slimming world tries to claim it’s groups are not. I’ve had consultants hound me in the past if a weeks missed from illness and not in a hope you are all ok way, in a you’re coming back next week right or like @MrsRyan had with the serious people come to group are you serious about losing weight way.

Off for a swim and yoga class later on though it’s rained all day so not really feeling like going out! Today’s my normal weigh in day as well and I can’t decide wether to weigh in or not seeing as though I only did last weeks on Sunday.

I'm lucky that my current consultant is one of the nice ones @evilsquid1603. In fact I've never had the hard business type but definitely nice but dim ones! 🤣 They could never answer questions just repeat mantras. Maybe they're government ministers now. 🤣

I'd weigh today for a reset as I could never cope with a regular Sunday WI. Ideally I'd go for a Friday like @joedenise or perhaps a Saturday morning like @bubbs so that I didn’t start my synful weekends too early.

Thanks @bubbs, aware of the new UK rather than GB requirement but apparently GB is OK as long as it's on a Union flag but not if it's the old style one with the stars around it!  We've also got our Angles Morts stickers but not planning on sticking them on unless we get stopped!  Seems like they're only needed in urban areas and we tend to avoid those!

On a motorhome website we use people who are currently in France are being asked if they are from the Ukraine if they've got the UK stickers on!

We'll just have to wait and see what happens when we get there.

Both of my consultants have been the dim but jolly types!  Have to say I preferred the original one rather than the one I've got now which is one of the reasons I've decided not to go to WI very often - just enough to keep access to the website!  It may well be that I will stop going completely and just use this thread if I get stuck for syn values etc!

Happy birthday @milann and enjoy your meal.

    Lunch and tea

My new consultant is lovely and also helpful.

Although I liked my old consultant I now realise how far she was up her own @rse 🤣🤣 and group could be very clicky. Nothing like that at this one 😁 good move on my part, so perhaps I should send old one a message thanking her for kicking me off the page 🤣🤣🤣
