    Evening everyone
I didn’t really have the best start to SW. My first consultant was what could only be described as obsessed. If anyone mentioned they were going on holiday (and they did because if someone missed a group she would- no word of a lie- call and message them continually until they explained) she would demand to know if it was U.K. or not. If yes, she would say ‘you know you have to go and weigh at another group while you’re away. and no nice food- stick to salads with no dressing and Diet Coke or water’ When she posted pictures of herself drinking Prosecco and eating pizza in Rome I couldn’t resist sniping ‘funny looking salad and water that is!’ The last straw with her was after having my gallbladder out and explaining no I wouldn’t be at group that week as I was recovering at home (2 days post op) she said ‘oh I’m worried you’ll gain if you’re at home and not coming to group’ I gave her both barrels that my health was way more important and I could barely stagger from bed to the loo let alone take a 4 bus round trip to group!

My current consultant can really annoy me. She’s alright sometimes but remarks like the one on FB pee me off.

    Happy b’day milann xx

    Today’s food:
B; HEXB tomatoes on toast (4 Syns for spread)
D; SW meal pot thing with veg (2 Syns for Tommy ketchup)
T: Wholemeal pasta carbonara (HEXA) pickles for speed. Blueberries and f/f natural yoghurt
    S: Crisps (6.5)
    Syns: 12

Lots of love to you all xx

I'm lucky that my current consultant is one of the nice ones @evilsquid1603. In fact I've never had the hard business type but definitely nice but dim ones! 🤣 They could never answer questions just repeat mantras. Maybe they're government ministers now. 🤣

I'd weigh today for a reset as I could never cope with a regular Sunday WI. Ideally I'd go for a Friday like @joedenise or perhaps a Saturday morning like @bubbs so that I didn’t start my synful weekends too early.
    Sad but true  :l

@Jellybaby  Think I wll give the company shop a miss.
I dislike driving too far & when it's busy so I would just get stressed, tired & fall!

Morning all, I definitely have a 'business' consultant.  I'm back on the FB page but received a text last night asking when I was going back.  After my reply I might not be on it for long!  She has been promoted to area co-ordinator?? and handing the reigns of our group over to a newly trained consultant.  I'm thinking of re-starting with the new consultant and get rid of this last stone 'officially' then I can go as and when I want.

Belated happy birthday @milann.  I hear you @beanielou,  I get stressed driving when it's busy too and now with all the petrol shortages I'm thinking it's probably not the best decision and should leave it for a while.

    Today's plan:
B - yoghurt, mango and melon
    L - lentil soup
D - flatbread, chicken tikka, salad

Syns - 9.5 flatbread (eek! but using up to clear the freezer), possibly 2 for dressing

    Have a good day all!
  • Got on the scales this morning to see what damage has happened, very surprised at 1lb loss, however, eating out after Riverdance, so that may be reversed. But, considering I am clearing out the freezer and have not bought very much, my speed intake is down,  and I was hoping for a maintain for the week, think I may be borderline lucky tomorrow evening, hope so! That would be a big morale boost as I had decided to take a hit on damage, will go through freezer at weekend and probably dump what ever is left, well, not the roast of beef in there😂

Have a good day everyone, had a late breakfast of beans on toast, that will keep me full until this evening!
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Well done @Gettingtherequickly . It's good to see a pound off. Which comes first, Riverdance or WI?🤔

I think it's even harder to choose really wisely when eating out as we all missed out so much during lockdowns and prices have gone up too so I'm determined to eat what I'll enjoy. That being said I don't really enjoy stuff that's too greasy or full of pastry and I resent paying over the odds to have something padded out with loads of bread. I'd rather use my syns for wine! 🤣

I think we're all mse inclined or we wouldn't be on this site @Jellybaby. The problem then is the dislike  of wasting food which isn't SW friendly. It's particularly difficult when you're just starting off or returning to the plan and you've got stuff to use up. Today's going to be the last day of any salads. I think I  will have to throw away a few leaves but we've done really well to use them up.

I made the corned beef hash yesterday with half a large tin of meat. IIRC it's 3 syns for my share.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NMAS grapefruit squash, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk berries (S)
L- ham, fried egg (P), hash of potato, onion, pepper, tomato etc (F,S) and maybe last of the salad leaves (S)
D- corned beef hash (P,F,S) with cauli, broccoli, cabbage (S)
Syns- corned beef 3, horseradish 1, skinny syrup 0.5

Afternoon all!  Where has today gone?  Went to do a bit of shopping this morning so stocked up again although I forgot to get any mushrooms so I'll ask DH to pick some up tomorrow on his way home from golf.  I've got a few but not enough to last until I go shopping again next week.

Today has turned out better than I expected, thought it was supposed to be showery today but we haven't had any and it's actually really bright although much cooler than it has been recently.

    Today's plan:

    B - baked oats with raspberries and banana - P; S; F
    L - mussels in cider - P; S; 3 (about 1/3 of a can)
    D - cauliflower cheese, chips - S; F; 3.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
Syns - cider 3; cheese sauce mix 3.5

Enjoy Riverdance and your meal out GTQ and good luck for WI tomorrow evening.

    Afternoon all

Well done GTQ fingers crossed for tomorrow,

Hope you enjoy Riverdance we did

We have had a real heavy shower today about 2 when i was on the way to ick DH up but lovely and sunny again now, although yes it is much cooler, they reckon tonight is only going to be 5 degrees 😱

DH has a real stinking cold and cough, but has done a LFT and it's clear, as they all had to do them at work as had an email from bosses higher up someone has tested positive for covid but they have not told them who!

    Today's food
    Brekkie

Melon and ham and 2 boiled eggs

    Lunch

Speedy veg soup, (1 portion left) cheese and ham toastie . hexb and 1 1/2 hexa, there was actually 46g cheese not 45 so not a bad guess when i chopped it off!

    Tea

Cottage pie, onions and mushrooms in it , cauli, broc and peas, 4 syns gravy, 2 syns sauce, some strange reason i always have brown sauce with cottage pie, only time i have it!

Not many syns today so might have a merguine nest with fruit and ice cream
