Thanks @bubbs. Where are the syns in KFC? 🤔 Is it mayo on the salad?

I do hope you don't turn into a Pot Noodle @klew356. 🤣 I don't think I could eat them for a meal though. Now soup weather is coming, that would make a nice change.

I had to go to Sainsburys for chicken thighs today. None in Aldi. The meat stock was generally low, worst I've seen it. ☹️

It's strange that you weigh less in the morning @Gettingtherequickly. I'd have expected it to be the other way around. 🤔

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
    L- LO hash, veg, fried egg (P, S, F)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrots, green stuff, garlic mushrooms with HEA 2(S)
    Syns - weekend wine 😁

I weigh less in the morning than I do in the evening too @maman.  I thought everyone would - one of the reasons I like to have a morning WI!  I forgot to weigh this morning so will try to remember tomorrow morning to see how things are.  Should be OK as well under syns for the week - think I only used about 90.

I wonder whether the recipes for things like instant mash or whatever are actually changing or whether SW are changing because people aren't getting the losses. 🤔 At least they can't change the syn values on Speed and Protein. Although, even then, they can change them to free like baked beans. ☹️

I don't syn the instant mash either.  It always used to be Free and I'm sure it's still just dried potato.  I think it might be a bit like yoghurts where people were eating too many because they were "Free" rather than just having one.

Agree about baked beans - they are definitely Protein but again I suspect people were eating them rather than having vegetables with their meals!

Morning all, weather not looking too bad although rain forecast for this afternoon but going to take a chance and do a machine load of washing.  It's not as windy as yesterday but at least there is a bit.  If I can get it on the line for at least a couple of hours before the rain then it shouldn't take too long to dry on the airer!

Like your thinking @bubbs with synning the instant mash!  Are you handing in your SAS logs to your consultant?  Assume you are if you're making sure you have some syns.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - sausages, eggs, mushrooms, dry fried tomatoes, baked beans - P; S; F; 2
    L - chicken salad sandwich - P; S; 0.5
    D - lamb & chickpea dhansak, rice - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausages 2; LTL mayo 0.5

If I can find a mini naan in the freezer I'll have that too but need to go and have a look after breakfast!

    Have a good day everyone.
