    Afternoon all
Another miserable day here in Leicestershire as well. I’m actually contemplating putting the heating on but I’m thinking maybe I should get dressed :D I had my Maths GCSE class via Teams this morning so I’ve got a smart hoodie on but it definitely doesn’t match my red pj bottoms (they are nice PJ bottoms though, my fave Victoria’s Secret ones)

My Iceland delivery arrived this morning so I should have a more SW friendly day today. I ended up going over Syns yesterday- I was ravenous! I think it’s these flipping tablets I’m on. They supposedly increase your appetite.

    Today’s food
    B: Bacon sarnie (HEXB + 4)
D- Chicken tikka lunch pot and mixed Veg, blueberries and yoghurt
T: SW lamb kebab with couscous and garlic sauce (0.5 for couscous) Chocolate (4.5 Syns)
S: 4 Ryvita (6) with HEXA Laughing Cow and ham
    Syns: 15

    lots of love xx

Although it's been quite grey it did stop raining about 11 o'clock so I took and chance and hung the washing on the line!  I got it in at 1.30 and nearly everything was dry.  The only things not dried were a couple of pairs of bamboo socks which always seem to take a long time to dry!  So quite lucky really.

Where do you get the spice kit @bubbs? I can only see them online. 🤔

I had a SW breakfast but then an off plan meal today. 3 courses plus wine so haven't been hungry since.

It was a 'could have been worse' meal. Lamb kofta to start, very lean but some oil and mayo dip. Main was sea bass with potato and broccoli and a sauce of some sort. Then the problem, about 3 or 4 HEAa worth of cheese plus crackers. It was delicious. 😋

Line drawn and back on plan tomorrow. 😊

Morning, I'm tired this morning and it's another very wet and windy day here.  Upside is it's pay day and I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow after having to cancel the last two appointments.  Resembling Chewbacca at the moment

Saturday morning is my usual weigh in time so instead of class will jump on the scales at my mum's (maybe I should wait until after the hairdresser!).

    Today's plan:
B - yoghurt and whatever fruit I can find
L - l/over chicken penne Romano, parmesan HEXA, last bits of salad left
D - SW garlic burger, wholemeal roll HEXB, fried onions, tomatoes, mushrooms

    Syns - 2 relish

    Have a good day all!

    Afternoon all,

    Happy Friday

I am late on, had a productive morning – was also starving so I swapped my lunch and dinner

B fruit and fibre ss milk

L – baked potato tuna mayo sweetcorn pickled onions and cheese

D – pot noodle ( im going to turn into one) but meeting a friend for a catch up tonight so I need something quick. Im not using any other syns today apart from the mayo so will be ok

Also I don’t like who did the food shop last weekend (me) she didn’t buy any freddos or crisps! Craving

  • Well, one thing I learnt this week is not to weigh in the morning if you usually weigh in the evening! I actually ended up with a 1lb gain for the week, which is usually about the difference between morning & evening weigh. Happy enough with that as I had bitten the bullet on food I already had, so know there was not enough speed and that ice cream in Wimbledon probably put the tin hat on it!, together with not having enough time to reverse the dessert! But today is the start of a new month, I actually have a whole weekend free, so time to get rid of whatever is in the freezer, batch cook & re-fill, hoping that the petrol queues have diminished so that I can do a shop at Sainsbury's and generally be more focused on things.

The lady I mentioned who was basically back to square one after over a year, lost 4lb this week, everyone was chuffed for her, hope she will be able to continue to pretty much maintain around this loss for a while, has quite a bit to go, so in theory it should be possible.
A smile costs little but creates much :)
