Yes @beanielou, people said Scanbran was like chewing cardboard!
I use Lazy Garlic all the time except for roasted vegetables @MrsRyan. It's syn free though. 🤔0 -
Morning all. My mum joined SW when it was red and green many years ago and I remember her making scanbran cakes and literally choking them down because they were "allowed" 🙄 I've worked with a lot of people who were very mugshot and mullerlight heavy in their meals while I was sitting there with a jacket potato and salad 😆
Had usual breakfast of ff yogurt, blueberries and granola for breakfast, lunch is the last of my cheats sushi bowl and dinner tonight is a stir fry for me, again to use up the stuff in the fridge.

I tried red and green days years and years ago, it bored me so stopped. I have in the cupboard, a couple of the green packet mug shots. I live rural they are for emergencies when the weather is bad – I think they are cheese flavoured.
B fruit and fibre ss milk
L chicken salad
D lasagne
Same meal plan as yesterday eeek. I was hungry last night but resisted temptation
Spin tonight, I will be thin (ner) not fat lol

I've got some savoury rice in the cupboard as a standby too @klew. It's rare that I haven't got a few bits of veg or cold meat in the fridge to chop into that and it makes a filling meal. It's good for taking out too if I know I'm likely to be travelling somewhere. I can eat that with a spoon in the car or on a train or on a park bench without making a mess!
I put a veggie chilli in the SC yesterday so have kept some out for tonight's dinner and portioned the rest for the freezer. Dancing again tonight so getting the Body Magic in. 😊
When I joined SW they offered 3 choices. They were really promoting Extra Easy as the main plan but loads of people still did Red and Green and all the instructions are in my book. You could still do Green Days if you wanted to @evilsquid1603 but you just wouldn't have all the syn values available. @joedenise sometimes has a Green day but since the extra HEA on EE they aren't as much of a bonus as they used to be. I do have the quantities of nuts etc. if you wanted them.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, scrambled eggs (P)
L- ham (P), 2 potatoes (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- veggie chilli (P,S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)

I’d forgotten about scan bran and the cakes made from them. I bought one packet and they went in the bin…there was a fad of cakes made from chickpeas going around our group at one time too 🤢
I really don’t know what has got into me - I’ve totally wasted my money and can’t get my head in the game atm at all……..my mojo will return 🤞January spends - £587.580 -

I always find that planning helps me get back to SW. It's not easy when you have to eat out but if I have a meal plan then I'm half way there. I feel virtuous writing the plan using up stuff I've got in and then write the shopping list to g with it. Then I'm all set up. I know some people find it restrictive but I like to do one bit of planning and shopping once a week then I don't have to think about it again.0 -
@maman I know what you mean about the extra HEA, when we first went to EE I really struggled with losing the two HE overnight as I wasn't using them to have meat or pasta on the other day (I did mix 2 max for that really if I fancied it) so I felt the loss but it’s not so bad now. I sometimes had 4 HE worth of cheese on a green day though and whilst part of me wants to again, another part of me thinks overdoing the cheese is why I’m here and I actually should keep the portion control!Might be nice to do a few and just get the extra portion of nuts in, I’ve still got a very old book with the red and green plans in too just in case! I saw soft goats cheese was removed as a HEA though and I do like having that so might have to have a few sneaky green days to get that back in as a HEB.I remember scan bran too, there was always people who absolutely swore by it in my groups. Was it scan bran that there was that craze for the knock off ferrero rocher by mixing them with Nutella or was it ryvita? *spoiler alert* they did not taste like Ferrero rocher 🤣🤣🤣0
