Very well done on your PB for 5K @ruby_eskimo!ππΌππΌππΌ
Bloating will go so no need to worry.π
It sounds like you didn't have much choice about healthy eating @evilsquid1603. Food sounds OK but not very inspiring. I hadn't thought that about vegan soups. Perhaps as vegan menus improve there will be more SW friendly options in restaurants.Β I know what you mean abut SW and Pinch of Nom but I don't think, having seen photos of them,Β they'd have made a good public face for SW as they don't seem to practise what they preach.Β Β Apparently the met at a SW group 4 years ago.Β
I suppose the old Red Plan was low carb when you think about it @milann .Β As you could have carbs on Red by using them as a HEX then it made you limit your portion size.Β
That's quite a bit of juggling you're having to do there @joedenise but I don't blame you taking advantage of the weather to get away for a few days.Β
Yesterday I portioned up Bolognese I made on Saturday and today I need to make chilli for the freezer. It's always useful to have HM ready meals.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), 2 fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- ham (P), potato (F) fried veg and pickles (S)
D- baked salmon (P), cubed potatoes (F), carrots, spiced cauli, runner beans (S)
Syns- 0

Hugs Bubbs, so annoying when that happens, but it will recover this week. Well done the losers.
Walked on Saturday, did about 27 1/2k steps, was a fabulous day. Synned a bit that evening, though not as much as I could have! It was my uncle's anniversary, so there were 8 of us for dinner, roast chicken (bit of breast so all good), cauli, broccoli & carrotts, so decent speed, then the killer, of which I did not have that much, potato dauphinoise! However my favour, I did not have a dessert, tiramisiu, my cousin is a chef so she adjusts accordingly. Besides the fact that I am not really a dessert eater, I hate anything that has coffee in it, even though I love to drink it, so that was easy, although there were strawberries with fat free yoghurt & cheese & biscuits, so I wore my halo
I had more syns than I thought during the day, my own fault as I did not check, brown bread thins are actually 4 syns, that was a waste!
Going to the theatre tomorrow, so need to be careful

Definitely a lot of menu juggling going on but I've managed it. Β I'm taking food for 3 meals a day but suspect that lunches will be eaten out but will try and pick healthy choices. Β Biggest problem when away is too much alcohol so being sensible, as we've only away for 2 nights, I've only packed one bottle of wine for tomorrow night and then there's enough gin & tonic for a couple each for Wednesday night. Β Hopefully that way I won't be going way over syns, although suspect there may well be syns at lunchtime! Β So if necessary there will be damage limitation for the rest of the week, although it's still another month before I'm planning on going to WI again!
Have finally done a freezer inventory and there isn't a lot of HM ready meals in there but as we're hoping to get away for December/January for a month I'm trying to run things down by using up stuff I've got in there. Β There's still quite a bit of meat for the basis of meals, some fish and burgers. Β Only things I definitely need to buy is some sausages as we do like them for breakfast at the weekend and I have completely run out now (last pack is in the motorhome to have while we're away). Β I'd really like to be able to turn off the chest freezer when we go away and then get rid of it and replace it with a couple of small upright freezers as I find them so much easier to organise. Β At one time I had a small chest and a small upright but got rid of those and bought the big chest one - big mistake on my part! Β I should have just kept the small one and got rid of the small chest and replaced it with another upright. Β Hindsight is a wonderful thing!
@ruby_eskimo and @klew356 you both know where your small gains have come from so you'll easily lose that over the next week! Β Well done on your PB @ruby_eskimo.

Hi everyone - remember me?
Had to cut short my charity walk at the end of July due to DSis' feet being injured. Then heard DDad had to have heart surgery, so DSis and I flew out to Cyprus to see him. Got back and and planned to resume the walk, but when he was admitted to hospital they found lung cancer - so I flew back out to Cyprus to support Stepmum. All very stressful and thank the lord he is on the mend.
Unfortunately food has been of the 'whatever gets served up, you eat' variety. Lots of lentils and pulses but also a fair bit of rice. I'm not going to worry too much as it was out of my control - no shops within easy reach of the house, so I was a bit stuck. Alcohol is contraband so at least no syns there!
DH has been shopping whilst I was away and I have scant idea of what's in the fridge/freezer/cupboards right now. Will take me a while to get a plan done as I'm also now back at work.
Hope you're all okay - will read back to see what I've missed.

Hi @Coxy11, welcome back. Β Had wondered what had happened to you as you used to post so regularly.
Sorry to hear the problems with your DDad but at least he's on the mend now and you can get back to thinking about yourself and sorting out any dietary problems which have occurred! Β Although doesn't sound too bad although I know you don't tend to do carbs much. Β All you can do is draw the line and get back on plan.
I'm sure you'll soon manage to sort out what you have food wise and get your menu plan sorted.
