Evening all
Ugh I’m completely stuffed! I made an SW meal that I haven’t made in ages for tea tonight and although it was lush I can’t move now!Back at work today after two weeks annual leave. It was crazy busy as well- I was glad to log off at 6pm! Didn’t much feel like starting to cook but I forced myself. Glad I did- it was really nice.I joined SW after Extra Easy so I never knew red and green but I also knew many people who used to eat loads of Mullerlights. I always thought Mullerlights were like some kind of cult within SW- I can’t have them as I’m allergic to aspartame but if you happened to mention you didn’t eat them you got a lot of horrified looks. If anyone happened to ask for recommendations on yoghurts all you got was ‘Mullerlights’ I had to find Light and Free myself. Ditto with Mug Shots- the mantra if anyone asked for lunch ideas was ‘Mug Shot and an apple’ I also can’t have them as they give me a headache. I think that was one of the reasons I left the original group I was in- I was fed up of being told I was ‘too fussy and I should just try Mullerlights/Mug Shots’ 🙄
Fortunately it’s not like that now- my current group is quite good with diversity and finding SW friendly food and drink that suits everyone. I’m incredibly grateful to my consultant for pointing out that Morrison’s own brand medium sliced wholemeal bread is 2 slices for a Healthy B! I could never get on with those piddly little slices. I wanted proper bread and used to syn it- but I’m thrilled now I can have proper bread! I would never have known.Today’s food:
B: 2 x boiled eggs, asparagus and HEXB bread for soldiers. 4 Syns for spread
D- SW chicken rogan josh, mixed veg
T: Lamb kebab with couscous, salad and garlic sauce (0.5 Syns for couscous, 1.5 Syns as I’m lazy and used crushed garlic from a jar) dark chocolate (4.5 Syns)
S: Crisps (6.5)
Syns: 16

Same here, never had a Mugshot. I once tried a Muller, never again! And remember Scanbran! I didn't have that either.🤣1

Mugshots are awful, I can’t believe I used to eat them thinking back. They were just so processed and watery 🤢
I originally joined with red and green. Tbh I think green had cracked a very good balanced veggie/vegan diet and I used to do green the majority of the time even when I ate meat, I’m gutted it’s changed!! It was so much better for veggies having the choice of more nuts and seeds, a wider cheese list and olive oil as a HEB.1 -
