Hello Nannyg, hope you've had a good day :)
Today I did the only things I had planned for this week - the library and also to do some food shopping. I found some tete a tetes reduced so have bought a few for the garden. We already have some but I love them and wanted more :)
Please put out food and water for the birds and hedgehogs :)

SuperMoose - I was going out but when I looked out and saw it raining I thought I'm going stay in!
Over the years I've been buying pots of tete a tetes for the kitchen window and after they have finished I plant them around the garden and now have lots of little clumps coming up each year - they look lovely. I have loads of bluebells
coming up as well after someone gave me some in a pot from her garden, I've given quite a few people small pots of them, they seem to spread quickly.

Nothing to report really, just a bit of cleaning and speaking to dd3 for a coffee chat this morning in her break, she was working from home!!
Hope everyone is OK, I'm granny sitting tomorrow, makes a change from a Tuesday, and will probably do a bit of shopping on the way back as I need some petrol.

    Hello :)
Hope granny sitting went well. Did you get to see the puppy or does he live elsewhere?
We don't have any bluebells, they're on my list of plants to get. Might need a bigger garden too though. Got some more tete a tetes as they were a very good price and the rain stopped long enough to get them in the ground. They cheer me up everytime I see them <3
Other then that haven't done much. Oh, did get some washing dried outside. Very exciting!
Have you been to your allotment? If you have hope everything was OK after the storms. I know you mentioned the polytunnel cover was damaged but hope everything else was alright.
    Enjoy your weekend :)

Yesterday I did my grandma sitting at my house as dd3 was working from home. I think I prefer it up at her house, he's got all his toys and books there and I know it's all safe. He found he could open some of my kitchen cupboards and had a whale of a time sorting through all my tins and packets, it's a good job there's no sugar or cereals in there!!!! And although I have quite a few toys, they're not his own!!!! Anyway it wore me out but I still enjoyed it and he had a sleep on my knee in in the afternoon so I got cuddles!

Last night I put fuel in the car from tesco (price lower than mossers) and I put in half a tank which cost me as much as a full tank did a couple of months ago, I'll have to keep an eye on car usage.

Today, I went to a different community pantry at the local FC, it was a little more expensive but their food collection was wider and more meat selection for meat eaters. Oh and I got free mug of coffee and toast!!! Not sure if I will use it again as its further away than the other one. I then went to the local hub but there wasn't much left, and then to home bs for a few bits. Anyway signature updated and hopefully no more spending for a few days.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. I'm thinking of starting a few seeds off!!
