Medusa - it's very worrying all these price rises that are altering daily or several times a day even. With me I think it's the not knowing 'how much' yet , so I can't deal with it, but yes I'm feeling so much more positive at the moment.
My dd2 suffers mould in her house and she lives in a sunny country, but it gets damp in winter. I hope the price of oil especially, stabilizes soon for you, I don't think I could sell up, I have no mortgage now and it took a lot of work to get it paid off and honestly it's a smallish house as it is and I don't want to move anywhere else!!!

Today has been quite a busy one for me. I went to the food hub this morning and got enough veg/fruit until I'm able to go again next Wednesday. Then I went and took dd2 to the train station, collected dgd from school, looked after her and dgs until her other half got in from work, then packed car up (well her other half did - it was raining and he did offer, he won't do that again I bet as he was soaked
) then home via mcds for our tea, fed pup and now ready for bed. I don't seem to have sat down all day and its been lovely!!!
I didn't take money out of my grocery money for mcds, it was left over from something else so I haven't added that onto my total, and dd put some money into my bank account for petrol to thank me for the running about, I told her not to as mums do that, but she did it anyway and for once I didn't protest!!!!
Anyway I'm going to tuck myself up in bed now I've had my last drink in the peace and quiet, ready for the early wake up call in the morning from pup and dgd, lol!!!

I seemed to have lost yesterday!
Yesterday:
Well up early with dgd and pup, (but more time spent with them.) After breakfast and a bit of kiddies tv, we got dressed, bundled pup in the car and went to the milk farm, dgd operated the milk vending machine, she thought it was great putting money in and holding the bottle to catch the milkand then went to look at the cows I don't think she thought they were that big until she got really close to them, but she did stroke one when it lowered its head and then we went to look at the calves and she fell in love with one little brown and white one - it was really cute though
we then went to the local lake and walked all the way around to give pup a good long walk and home for a hot drink and some lunch and a sit down for me!
Her other granny collected her later in the afternoon but the pup stayed here with me. In fact he is still here and I'm taking him back on Tuesday when I look after dgs, so tomorrow I will be walking him with my oldest dgd as she is spending some time with me.
Tonight I'm tired and can have a sleep in tomorrow as again I was up early today with pup - early for me, perhaps not for some people.
And that's it for today/yesterday, just watched Miss Marple after speaking to dd2 and will be going up to read my book for 1/2 hour before the light goes out. Nite nite.

Eldest dgd came for a visit today, so we took pup over to the local country park and he had a good run on the fields. After we bought him back home we went to a retail park and had a wonder around the shops, I haven't done that for so long, but I needed a few bits, a drain cover and 'toasta' bags for dd2 as she cant buy them where she lives, I may have bought pup a new dog toy as well
for a treat of course.
Not a lot else done, after trying for an early night I didn't really sleep very well, I kept waking up so in the end I got up, made a drink and lay on the settee until it was a more decent time!!
No food bought, but to be honest I'm buying very little of anything - I'm keeping hold of every little penny, I hope I'm not coming miserly!!!!! No, more not wasting money on things in hb, £shops etc!!! That canopy saving keeps me in check, it's a shame the savings will go down when all these new rises come in but every penny will help and it will just take me a lot longer to get it.
So I hope you're all keeping positive in very trying times.
