  • We bought a slow cooker from argos this evening and found that it was used.Food smears in pot, crack across the bottom etc.We were fuming as we had travelled a few miles away due to lack of stock.Rang them and they have resereved us one at a local store and have said they will send a cheque to re-emberse petrol costs.I will think twice before buying from them in future as this is unacceptable.
  • I am in the process of moving into my own house :j .. and have ordered numerous items from Argos online. I received my cordless kettle on Tuesday.. and they've taken the term 'cordless' very literally, and not sent a power-base, lead and plug.. it is literally a 'CORDLESS KETTLE'. Not impressed at all. I order online because the nearest Argos to us is 18+ miles away (we live in the sticks lol) and now I'm going to have to go there anyway, after paying for bloody delivery!!!

I'm not trying to be funny - but have you looked inside the actual kettle? Argos do sell one which has the base and lead packed inside the kettle inside the box! Just a thought!

If not - ring Argos Direct to get them to send you out a replacement kettle and collect the faulty item at he same time! Don't waste your petrol! If you can't wait, then ask them to refund your delivery charge to compensate you! ;)

Lol.. yes, I did think of checking inside to no avail.. bit confused as to how there are no obvious signs of it being used (no watermarks or nowt) but not having a base and plug?! Just hope I dont get any hassle with them accepting it back!
