It's good to see a few drops coming through - and the good thing with anyone that has a 'STS' is that you've not gone north, so that's a mini-achievement in itself. (the way I saw my weight gain over recent months I was nowhere near an STS on most weeks). If you have happened to gain a few ounces, there's always next week, and if the weather is good, and you feel up to it, get out for an extra walk here or there if you can, or leave the car at home if you're only going to the post office and back (I'm sure you know what I mean).
The way we achieve the loss, or suffer the gain varies from person to person, I know mine was a period of not enough exercise and too many calories. I've reversed it around now, and am heading the right way - but it's not an easy thing to achieve, especially if like me, you happen to enjoy chocolate biscuits or a slice of cake or seven.4 -

If you do, perhaps try putting them down in between each fork- or spoon-ful and moving your hands to your lap.
During last year we self isolated due to our age, we didn't go out at all. One day was very much like another, we kept very busy as we had no staff and had to do everything ourselves.
It was so monotonous that one day I even had to check what day of the week it was.
So I set myself a goal:
Sunday demarks one week from another so the goal was to get out the proper/best china, glasses and cutlery and to cook a decent meal on the Sunday.
We have carried on with this idea even though we now go out. Yesterday was Sunday, I tried to keep dinner fairly low calorie but I'm afraid the brakes were off a little as I also like cooking from scratch.
So B: 0
lunch:- one boiled egg, lettuce and tomatoes, apple, pear
Dinner:-
Starter, home made scotch eggs - 2 each, made with quail eggs, lean pork mince, herbs, and breadcrumbs, on lettuce, - no mayonnaise for me
Main: leg of lamb mint sauce and plain veg, - no gravy no roasties for me
dessert:- fruit salad, (apple, pear, orange, nectarine, blueberries, grapes, melon), instead of a sugar syrup I used low calorie orange squash but I did add a spot of rum. - no cream for me
Black coffee - no HM truffles for me

Morning Everyone.
Weighing in with a STS. I was honestly expecting a purple devil today so I am pleased I've managed to balance out the beer and snacks with walking (on the spot while watching the football!) and sensible meals. I'll get back on it properly now - I've been bobbing around the same weight for a month or so now and its getting tiresome! I say I'll get back to it, but there are open crisps and I'm pretty sure they will go soggy if I don't eat them right now, right?
Have a good week everybody!4 -

I weigh myself on a Monday (it helps me stay in control over the weekend) so sorry to be a pain with a late weigh in. 1lb loss for me this week, please.4

zafiro I like your idea about making Sunday stand out from the other days.
Today I ate:
B - bacon & eggs
L - veal burger, mixed veg*; 2 small tangerines
D - cauliflower bolognaise; strawberries & yogurt
S - none* the plan was for cheese salad, but it turns out I’d counted last night’s cheese twice, so luckily I had a grocery delivery this morning. And it was cool & wet enough to need a cooked lunch.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Checking in with a big broad STS, the good thing about that is that I have kept my weight loss from last year, and well I'm not done yet, so I am feeling optimistic with my lower target of a few but very sticky pounds.
Exercise:
Last Thursday nothing - drove back from hols all day.
Friday a short lake swim, felt awful though.
Saturday - still very tired but went for a bit of a walk.
Sunday went for a gentle kayak, so not much.
Finally back on a short but exhausting run last night.
Today is Yoga and stretching.
Am trying to do 8/16 intermittent fasting as seems to work, except not quite 16 as we do tend to eat dinner quite late and the schools generally have a break around 11 am and 1 pm, and I can't wait to eat till 1! I have been good and only having one modest serving of dinner. So I have lost whatever food bump might have dropped by while on holiday.
Will try to go to market tomorrow and get extra vegetables tomorrow after work.
MIght walk w friend later (as well)
Tomorrow another run.
Have a lovely day everybody, am not caught up on reading but will try to do so later.

Yesterday
B: 0
L: 2 boiled eggs, raw cauliflower, a bit of a salad, apple
D 2 x mini wraps, 4 very thin slices of tinned corned beef, 2 ice-creams, pear.
A so so day,
I shouldn't have had 2 ice-creams but I had lost the plot by that stage. The heavens had opened and Gertie the gosling needed new bedding and be put to bed. I got soaked but she was enjoying herself and led me a merry dance so I'll call that my extra exercise for the day.4 -
Can I join Please @Brambling?
If ok with you can you put me down for 11lb?
I do not have an end goal yet, but I'm a lady of an age were my body is going to change and I am worried about waking up in a couple of years time a good few LBS extra and wishing I had done something about it sooner.
Mr Pepper has aslo decided he needs to move a few LBS, he is trying to cut down on beer, on our first day of healthy eating (yesterday) I only had ....'I'm hungary' a couple of times, had a food delivery today, I have put his treats to the side so he has something for the weekend, he will thank me when it gets to Friday as the 'snacking' food will probably be gone tomorrow night.
