Well done to all, SIRENS just don't give it back to Honey
Blue you obviously go by the ethos that if a jobs worth doing it's worth doing probably!!
I agree on the plate size, many years ago my sister changed her dinner plates and the new ones were huge when she got annoyed about me not eating all of my dinner (as big sisters do) i got her to plate up on her new plate and then transferred it to her old one, she was horrified at how much food she was dishing up in the desire to 'fill' the plate and realised why she was gaining weight.
Have a good weekend allUnfortunately I'm working today

Try using a smaller plate, mine is smaller than a dinner plate but slightly larger than a side plate, I think the term is a 'lunch plate' That works well for me as the plate looks full.
Eating quickly is a harder habit to break, I've tried putting my fork down between mouthfuls - didn't work, I've tried having a drink on the table - didn't work, I've tried chewing for a set number of times - definitely didn't work, so I still eat my meals at top speed.
Friday
B:- 0
L:- cup a soup, apple and raw vegetables. I much prefer raw vegetables to cooked ones especially cauliflower
T:- salmon, HM Waldorf salad minus the walnuts and with light mayonnaise, lettuce. followed by no sugar jelly, last of the strawberries and last of the calorific yogurt. 2 squares of 85% dark chocolate.7 -

Zafiro, I also eat fast, always have done, can't seem to slow down either, I'm always the first to finish and then, I'm waiting on the rest of the family 😆'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Hi just dropping by to say I had a good food day yesterday, while not the most healthy I mostly stuck with 3 meals, and only had one slice of pizza for dinner, and nothing later. That said I make a home made probably foot size pizza with all sorts of chorizo, cheese, peppers, spinach, goat cheese tomatoes, and red onions and I had about a sixth. So there should be a slide for lunch as well. And I used up some cheese that travelled home with us from holiday and some oldish spinach from freezer, so that was the main reason for pizza. My main weapon is intermittent fasting and walking this quarter, while I will still do a lot of exercise, I am a bit burnt on running so will do a more fun thing like kayaking today.
Hope everybody is having a good summer so far.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

If you do, perhaps try putting them down in between each fork- or spoon-ful and moving your hands to your lap.
In particular, if the food needs chewing do not pick up the cutlery until after you have swallowed.
I haven't been to a slimming class so do not know whether that is ever suggested but think it could help.4 -

Absolutely!

Some mugs are ginormous, too. I keep meaning to swap back to teacups (to say nothing of coffee cups!) but so far without lasting success. It all encourages over-consumption 😫.

I find I’m more likely to graze if I don’t eat enough at meal-times, and a glass of wine makes me extra hungry. So do starchy carbs. (Weird metabolism.)

OK. I eat fast. Keep the cutlery in my hands. Tend to pick. Have a sweet tooth. After a long lifetime of dieting am reluctant to give up favourite foods for the time I have left. Will eat anything if it is between 2 slices of bread.
I AM DOOMED.
I have also lost 1lb this week.
