Hi there!
Well done honeythewitch, for both the loss (measly though it might be it’s still the equivalent of a pack of butter gone), and for sticking to your diet. Do you think the heartburn is just your system adjusting to your new regime? The day started well, but I had to go to the launderette today after a zoom meeting. I should have had an early lunch but wanted the chance to line-dry the washing, so foolishly I went before I’d eaten and was seduced by the chippy next to the launderette. I shan’t be doing that again, because I’ve felt quite unwell all afternoon. Just longing for the end of lockdown and also for infections to go down and I can replace my very broken washing machine!
B - porridge with raspberries
L - (or possibly D - ) fish and chips

Hi @Brambling sorry I'm joining a bit late, but my hiking holiday turned out to be a bit more of a driving holiday. We did go surfing though yesterday, and I realised have a lot of work to do on my little skinny spaghetti arms. Anyhow I want to get back on my journey with you guys so please sign me up for 6lb, it's not much, but will make a massive difference once I get there. So no more crisps or chips or chocolate for a while. Thanks for continuing the challenge.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Nice to see you back Ditty 🙂 hope you had a good holiday?Blue I replaced my dish washer last year and used a local company (they have several shops in the county) the advantage for me was the disconnect as well as connected which most places don't. I felt really safe with them they both wore masks etc

I think I might have eaten Honey's 1/2.
+1/2 gain for me this week, pretty pitiful start for me, I have decided to switch from SW to calorie counting, I've never tried it before, I know it's not massively different but I think portion control is my biggest problem (in that I don't) so I'll give it a go and see if it helps, I'm hoping it will help me eat fore mindfully

Congratulations lovely losers 👏👏👏
Commiserations gallant gainers 😢😢😢
Brambling sadly I need more than the delivery firm, I need a handyman first to dismantle a work surface and then to unjam the machine from where it danced itself to when its weight got dislodged (washing a “washable” rug, long story).Luckily a sensible day today,
B - porridge with blueberries

Try using a smaller plate, mine is smaller than a dinner plate but slightly larger than a side plate, I think the term is a 'lunch plate' That works well for me as the plate looks full.
Eating quickly is a harder habit to break, I've tried putting my fork down between mouthfuls - didn't work, I've tried having a drink on the table - didn't work, I've tried chewing for a set number of times - definitely didn't work, so I still eat my meals at top speed.
Friday
B:- 0
L:- cup a soup, apple and raw vegetables. I much prefer raw vegetables to cooked ones especially cauliflower
T:- salmon, HM Waldorf salad minus the walnuts and with light mayonnaise, lettuce. followed by no sugar jelly, last of the strawberries and last of the calorific yogurt. 2 squares of 85% dark chocolate.8 -
