Happy to report an sts. Life is hard at the moment in a way where weight doesn't matter, but routines and looking after oneself do, so I'll hang around and keep tracking.
Congrats to the big losers, well done for sts - over the holidays that is a task in itself, and if you had a small gain - it's a bumpy road, keep at it.
I have been on here for a year and a half now- almost 2 stone lighter and I have kept it off. Thanks, Brambling.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

I was on the verge of dipping down into new pound territory so need to try to be good. Old reliable is grilled salmon for breakfast with a tomato. Bit late to the party but can I join too?
Needing to lose weight is a relatively new experience for me - I used to be one of those annoying people who could pretty much eat whatever and I'd stay the same but the past 18 months/2 years that has all changed 🙈 I blame the menopause (and not the vast amount of alcohol/cola/condiments etc that I consume! 😉😂)
I've got a minimum of 2st to lose and I'd like to shift it by the end of this year - can I put myself down for 11lbs by the end of this quarter please?DNF: £708.92/£1000

Hi Leftatthetrafficlights I’m on holiday at the moment with very limited WiFi (using bar free one at the moment 🙂) I’ll add you to the chart at the weekend but in the meantime welcome aboardLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin2

Thanks @Brambling 😊 I'm starting the process tomorrow despite knowing that it won't be a great week for me - even if I get a couple of good days in its better than nothing!! 😉
Hope you have a great holiday!! 😊DNF: £708.92/£1000

@Brambling 2lb off please. Hope you are having a lovely holiday, hope you treat yourself to an ice cream or two...or a cream tea?
Mr pepper is on holiday for much of August, so any loss will be great in the following weeks, I don't want his time off work to be all, diet, diet and can't have it.
Yesterday all went as planned.
Today was a Maccie D breakfast, not so bad as I have the hashbrown and Trop. and he has the double sandwich. 136 cal. and 0.8g sat. fat. for the hashbrown.
L - Fruit and a bag of Ringos
T - Chilli, salad and a few new spuds.
Later in the week he has mentioned a trip to York and fish & chips, we will share them ( I can't eat a portion to myself any more). We usually have a treat from Bettys to take home and i've been known to have an ice cream on the walk back to the car.
Win, extra walking - Mondays outing was a trip to a local big park.... it had a sign up saying no feeding of anything, I had a walk and went to another park for a walk, this time no signs so birds, me and Mr pepper all happy.
My Nan used to take me to the local park as a child, so have been visiting it for about 50 years, I would hate to think what she would make of all the signs that are now in place. it used to be that you could go for a walk, feed the birds, have a bit of a fish with my net on a stick and sit on a bench and have an ice cream.... now it's full of signs and fences, times do not always change for the better.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538

And I'm sure an ice cream = the walk to the car so that's just fine!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. sts for me Brambling please
after two days celebrating 1 DGD 18th birthday followed by 2 her achieving the A level grades she needed for her first choice university I must get back on the wagon !4 -
Interesting week for me - started on the usual downhill trend - usually having chicken or fish every day with salad - then on Monday I decided to substitute the chicken/fish for a fillet steak having not had one for a couple of months, and try some low calorie beef jerky - so a red meat day (Still with salad - no chips or bread). I can see that gave me a pronounced lift in the weight yesterday that has sustained today. I've also not been able to exercise for the last two days thanks to a minor medical condition that rears its head once in a blue moon - so overall a loss of just over a pound - but will declare:
-1lb loss
This coming week will be interesting, as if all goes to plan, I'll be eating out for the first time tomorrow where my calories might be less controlled - so expecting a small spike up and then hopefully by next Wednesday I'll be heading back down again. On the plus side, my larger 36" jeans have now been banished to the cupboards, and I've started wearing 32" trousers/jeans again (with a slight stretch) - so I can see that things are moving in the right direction.
Prior to week 1 here, my peak was 200.84lb - I'd started my own weight loss journey a couple of weeks before joining this weight loss journey.
Week 1 start weight: 189.93
Week 2 start weight: 185.85 (lost 4.08lb - declared -4lb)
Week 3 start weight: 181.77 (lost 4.08lb - declared -4lb)
Week 4 start weight: 179.68 (lost 2.09lb - declared -2lb)
Week 5 start weight: 176.81 (lost 2.87lb - declared -3lb)
Week 6 start weight: 174.61 (lost 2.2lb - declared -2lb)
Week 7 start weight: 173.39 (lost 1.22lb - declared -1lb)
On these boards since week 1 to week 7 - 16.54lbs lost.
Since beginning my change of lifestyle (3 weeks before) - 27.45lbs lost.
Keep up the good work everyone - it's a right old slog - but great to see many making small steps towards their goals - and also good to see those that aren't gaining STS - that in itself is a small positive. Small gains each week soon add up.
