my larger 36" jeans have now been banished to the cupboards, and I've started wearing 32" trousers/jeans again (with a slight stretch) - so I can see that things are moving in the right direction.
On these boards since week 1 to week 7 - 16.54lbs lost.
Since beginning my change of lifestyle (3 weeks before) - 27.45lbs lost.
Keep up the good work everyone - it's a right old slog - but great to see many making small steps towards their goals - and also good to see those that aren't gaining STS - that in itself is a small positive. Small gains each week soon add up.
I'm pleased to see a new pound on the scales this morning - a 6 rather than a 7. So heading in the right direction.
I continue to try to low carb as much as possible. I was at work yesterday and had to pick up some coffee for the gang on the way in so got the lunch meal deal at Tiscos. Chicken wrap, a diet coke (for the OH - I detest the stuff) and the only snack that looked reasonable with was a pack of "Fridge Raders".
I thought this would be ok as it's just chunks of chicken with some spice, right? NO! They were edible and filled a late afternoon hole but then I looked at the ingredients (which obviously I should have done much earlier like before purchasing) and was shocked to see that a 50g pack was over 400 calories!! That's nearly twice as much as a Mars bar and 3 times as much as a plain cooked chicken breast twice the weight!! So I won't be doing that again!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Don't panic Brie, I eat fridge raiders quite often as a snack and they are only between 84 and 95 calories for 50g depending on the flavour. If you look on Tescos website the nutritional values are on there xx4

So my first 2 days didn't go so well - lots of alcohol consumed- but after working out yesterday that I consume between 1800-2100 calories a day purely from drinking it's given me the rocket up my rear that I needed! 😨
I also did my measurements - the numbers are pretty horrific 🙈 However, they're at the highest they're ever going to be so I'm not beating myself up about it- I'm just getting on with reducing them 😉
I've declined my normal latte this morning and had water instead, I've done a yoga session and planned a healthy lunch and dinner 😊 I'm going to give myself a mini 'spa' day today (I'm on leave) and enjoy my new normal!DNF: £708.92/£1000

Food diary update
B - fruit
D - Jacket spud, beans and salad, very filling but did not eat until 2pm. Had this in a proper pub, home cooked food with a river view, made me think about how hard it is to have / find a healthy meal when eating out... which is not a s0ddin salad.
T - Small chunk of left over BBQ turkey (still full from dinner, only ate about half of my pub meal).
Treats - Can of full fat coke and a bag of Ringos. One big chip from the Mr's plate... quality control!
Very naughty - Gin in the Spa
Mr Pepper enjoyed his pub food and couple of pints, although he did say, pie not as good as you put kidney in my pies and your gravy is better. Think it put a spring in his step to be away from work and just to be 'out' so the Spa came out when we got home along with the Gin.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538

Hi
I didn't post last week because I was on holiday.
This week I have put on 1lb. I can't complain because I had a full English breakfast every morning, afternoon tea and cake more than once, a 3-course meal every evening and was in the bar every night. Lovely but back to normal now - sigh.4 -
Good afternoon all
I'm posting to say I have lost 3lb this week and I sts last week. It has been quite difficult for me to be honest as sugar cravings and bread cravings have reared their ugly heads and I haven't always been able to resist. Never mind, it's always a fresh start on Mondays so I have been ok so far.
My meals today are:
b/l- big cooked breakfast of sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms and baked beans
d - leftover pork, baked potato and veg
s - a piece of fruit, packet of crisps
