Well still in isolation.Interesting article on the bbc about lockdown weight gains - mine was far in excess of the average quoted.Lockdown weight gain averaging half a stone - survey https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-579686517 -
I am plodding on. Had a bit of a skirmish last night with a fruit cake though. I need to not see or think about food that I am not intending to eat.
I bet if I lived on my own and was not confronted by crisps in the cupboard I would be tiny.
Come to think of it, last time I lived on my own I was, but then again, it was forty years ago.
1) Duck egg on toast x2 and a grapefruit.
2) the last of the minced beef curry and brown rice. Pears. Raw carrots.

Evening All,
Sorry for utter rubbishness and lack of posting but I've been a mardy bum of epic proportions and keeping myself to myself was the kindest option.
Well done for all of the losses and STSs.
Little Voice hopefully I won't have missed you but congratulations on all you've achieved so far and best of luck for the future.
Get well soon wishes and good luck to those who are isolating, hopefully you'll get to enjoy freedom soon.
Best of luck to everyone and I'll try to check in more often, even if I can't face trying to diet at the moment xxx6 -
morning all
Happy to report -2 lbs this week
I never usually manage that much in a week so chuffed
congratulations to all whether you’ve lost or just kept going .9 -
Hello
Can I join you again? I've put on a lot of weight during lockdown - more than the half a stone they are talking about. I've managed to loose a stone but I really need to keep myself accountable as I've come to a bit of a standstill. I'd like to lose 10 lbs by the end of September.
ThanksHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -
Morning All

Had my second half of self isolation this week - but still managed a drop. It did creep up for a few days where exercise was limited, but as always look at the long term picture rather than a daily gain.Dropped my car off for a service in a nearby town yesterday and walked the 10km home just before the heavens opened. Have to pick it up later - weather doesn’t look promising to walk back and collect it.Keeping a check on progress so far:Week 1 start weight: 189.93
Week 2 start weight: 185.85 (declared -4lb)
Week 3 start weight: 181.77 (declared -4lb)
Week 4 start weight: 179.68 (declared -2lb)
Week 5 start weight: 176.81 (declared -3lb)
So far that’s - 13.12lbs - this weeks loss is just a slice under 3lbs - but I’m going to declare 3lbs from the shavings I’ve not previously declared keeping things to whole round pounds. 4 weeks in and averaging over 3lbs a week - no isolation now - so let’s see what this next 7 days brings.Still keeping calorie consumption at around 1000 a day or below. It was interesting to see those slight gains when the calories were so low but the exercise non-existent due to my isolation.Well done to everyone that’s got a loss - keep up the good work you sts’s - and if you’ve made a gain - there’s always another week to turn it around.Loss -3lbs
This week:
Progress so far:6
