Well done to all those who have lost this past week - and to dumpling for getting your blood sugar down.
I have lost another 1 1/2 lbs this past week - my target weight is in sight! But my waist measurement hasn't dropped as much as I would have liked - it seems to be coming off my face, which means that I don't want to keep losing weight as I will end up looking rather haggard!

Well done on all WIs for last week good or bad we are all trying which is all we can do
2Child unfortunately the weigh never comes off from where we want itunfortunately the last place mine comes off is my bust and I very top heavy anyway and that's where it goes straight back onto.
Lilac hopefully you're get your family visit in at the weekend, I'm hoping to maybe see some of my family at the end of August even if it means sitting on my eldest sister's patio and sharing a cuppa as I haven't seen her in nearly 2 years
I've been very picky since the last WI so I need to get my act togetherhope everyone has a good week and the cooler weather will help us all

Evening All
Well still in isolation, in fact I tested positive today so restarting the 10 days again by the time I get out of here it will be nearly a month since I left the house! My work were okay but I can imagine what was said once I was off the phone. I have been double jabbed but I guess living in a small house with 3 COVID positive people it would have been a miracle if I hadn't caught it, just wish it had been at the start so I could be free and back to work quicker.Today's meals
L poached eggs on toast
D jacket pot with beans and salad
i have no sense of taste or smell but am trying to eat as healthy as possible and use my exercise bike as I feel fine apart from the loss of smell/taste and a bit of a sore throat.
Got myself a new air fryer so playing with that at the moment, having to rely on the kids on what things taste of though 🙃'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Well still in isolation.Interesting article on the bbc about lockdown weight gains - mine was far in excess of the average quoted.Lockdown weight gain averaging half a stone - survey https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-579686515 -
Just having a few rough days.
I'm intolerant of cheese made from cows milk but OK with goat or ewe cheese. I've found a local company that does a reasonable selection of goat and ewe cheese and have been treating myself once a month as it's quite expensive. They do cheese that resembles, cheddar, parmesan as well as the soft cheese and blue cheese.
I have a feeling that the last order contained a blue cow cheese instead of a blue goat cheese. the name on the package was correct but I'm so arthritic after eating it - I can barely walk - all my joints ache. I was a bit suspicious when I opened the package but just thought they had cut it from a new round as the rind didn't look quite the same as before, it was very crumbly.
I'm not going to complain as I've used them for over a year without problems and I cannot be 100% sure it is the cheese but it's a coincident that these are exactly the same symptoms, only more severe, from when I first was intolerance to cow cheese. If I'm right i'll start to move about in about 7 days
The chickens will enjoy the rest of the cheese 500gm - £18.78p7 -
Hi,
Reporting STS this week. I'm happy with that as I only have a few more pounds to lose.
Zafiro - sorry to hear you are unwell it sounds horribly painful6 -
Wow Zafiro, that's pricey chicken feed! Wishing you a speedy recovery xx'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Hi all
1lb off this week. Was expecting to STS as it's my second week in, I usually stick on the second week in.
Trying to be better with alcohol this week, although Gin at the weekend was needed (well I thought so) due to terrible neck and shoulder pain... worked better than anything the Dr gave me.
Things that have helped, no bread or chocolate, especially bread it is my nemesis and even though the cucumbers we grow are now ready to eat I have not been tempted to make a sandwich. (Oooo cucumber with proper butter). Have had the odd bag of 60 cal Ring0s, 63 cal Strawberry split and 90 cal P0pcorn fiber bar which have helped.
Still a wayyyy to go, but I have made a start.
Hope everyone has a good week.

yesterday
B-0
L- 2 boiled eggs and lettuce
D- 3 sausages, lettuce, wraps, pickles, rhubarb crumble.
today:-
B-0
L- 2 boiled eggs, piece of cake
D - lamb, veg, ice-cream
I'm just about able to get around the house all be it but slowly, I'm leaning on the work surfaces in the kitchen to get about. DH - bless him - is doing all my 'animal' related jobs today, I think the geese chased him as he said a rather rude word about them when he came indoors. - something about 'Christmas dinner being sorted' - no way.....
