Hugs @DrCarrieWe’re now home from the caravan and I surprised myself with a NSD yesterday. We didn’t stop for a snack on the way home and we had spag bol from the freezer for dinner. NSD 1!Today I got our usual weekly grocery delivery and I treated myself to a pastry after ENT appointment for ongoing ear problems. Although I did take my own tea in a flask. How very NST of me.Tried a new dinner recipe this evening - peppers stuffed with black beans, corn, spring onions and coriander lime rice. It worked out really well. And it used ingredients I’d usually have leftover from another dinner on our meal plan which would usually go in the food bin. I’ll be planning those two meals in the same week from now on.Thankfully I had a relatively easy-paced work day. I was tired after a poor night’s sleep and the weather was dull and dreary which makes me feel more sluggish.Grateful to be WFH and not having to get up earlier to get a train to work the way I used to, for a new dinner recipe, and for having a car - it would be a nightmare getting to all my medical appointments all over the place without one.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸5

Morning turtles,
NSD yesterday...I am going to try for a run of 6 as per the challenge this month, so no grocery shopping until Sunday. I am continuing with my decluttering of my emails...unsubscribing to lots and lots, it does feel better to not have that noise on the screen. I am going to be nose to the grindstone until the 20th of July, assignment due.
Grateful for:
- sorting out the extension on my assignment, even if not as long as I hoped for (but it will be done)
- having a good cry at yoga yesterday
- meal plan in action3-month emergency fund (Cash ISA & PBs): £4744/ £6,000
Stocks and shares ISA: £1497
Additional pension contributions £0
Overpayment on mortgage: £0

NSD No 3 yesterday.
Defrosted and tidied both freezers and Himself hoovered the entire house (not that it's very big) whilst I was doing it. Bless him. In my effort to free up more space I've turned my attention to our outdoor cellar. It's full of junk only fit for the tip. Goodness knows why we kept it all. It's overwhelming but a little bit every day will get me there even though it looks like a very long job.
I've just weighed myself and I've lost two and a quarter pounds this week. I'm running out of fruit so once I get dressed it's off to the shop to buy some,Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -

Morning all, yesterday dawned damp & drizzly so happy to stay indoors & see. Turned a round necked dress into a v neck for a customer, lots of head scratching! Forgot - I did most of a Joe W1cks workout after breakfast. Did some cleaning, then ironing in the afternoon & watched the last episodes of a series I was watching. A lot of reading done (I'm halfway through the book already & only started it on Sunday!), then a friend came round & we did a 5 mile walk. It was along a cliff top path to Kitchener's Memorial, which was shrouded in fog! Too foggy to spot any Orca, but there had been a pod swimming past a few days previously. After living here 34 years, I've still never seen an Orca, but have seen porpoises & lots of seals!
Grateful for a good chat with No1 son before bed, looking & pointing out places he could explore on a map, catching up with a friend who I've not seen since Easter, a cleaner houseUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Thankful for a helpful man at HMRC (3rd person I spoke to - total waiting time for calls to be answered was over 80 minutes...), for YS oven cleaner doing it's thing, for cheery sunflowers in the garden (although the wind is battering them right now
