Oh! And I had a win on the Premium Bonds. I moved my emergency fund to PBs a couple of months ago, not really expecting to win anything but thinking it was better tucked away in an account that takes a couple of days to access. I won £25 in the latest draw9

Congratulations on your win @GeorgianaCavendish. Hugs @DrCarrie. Get well soon @greent.

Went for another long walk after breakfast, dropped a card off en route. Got identification of a huge moth I spotted halfway up the 'mountain' I climbed last week. It's a Northern Egger, only found locally on two of the outer islands, not on out mainland. Quite drizzly today, so a good excuse to do some sewing. Also finished another book too!
Grateful for messages to & from friends, moth identification, good booksUse it up, wear it out

evening
I've had a busy weekend. Worked yesterday morning at a small event for my PT job, was really good. Then pottered at home and then drove 1.5 hours to an old uni friend's house where we had a lovely meal and watched the footie - fab eve! Stayed over and had relaxed morning including visiting a car boot, where i bought some coasters. Then we went to an outlet where i bought a CD, top and a raincoat (don't have one), plus a couple of reduced plants. Friend is coming over in a few weeks to help me with the garden. So a spendy day but a good one. Did some chores this eve and having an early night.
gratitudes - good friends, good food, great football result

Tesco delivery yesterday so no NSD.
I made a huge goulash thinking I'll freeze some for another day. Not a chance. They wolfed the lot.
Quite a lot accomplished. I'm just waiting for a workman to come and fix a minor problem and then I'll get on with today's chores including defrosting the freezers.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -

Happy Monday folks. Not really feeling that bubbly today.Weekend reportsFriday big lidlee shop and gkids overnight.Saturday took 2 extremely tired kids to the local zoo, gave in to ice creams and small buy each from the shop. I was just worn out by then. GS had been on a 2 night school trip and can't have slept much if at all. Got rid of them before the football absolutely well happy with that result.Sunday - NSD tidied my back garden, until the rain and then cleaned the kitchen it needed it for few hours.Today - lost a NSD popped into big chain newsagents closing down in our town and 75% off books so bought a nice healthy eating cookery book. Could be tempted by some more in there got until next weekend.Grateful forBeing busy in work, my mind needs it atmLovely chat with little old lady in work, think she was just lonely and wanted someone to talk to. Not sure my boss would agree but need to give some time to people.Looking forward to football and seeing my dd 4 more sleeps ;-)LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/229

Lots of housework done today (OH helped), washing dried outside on the line, and an afternoon of main course type baking, which means not much cooking for the rest of the week. Still on 1 NSD, as I had to renew OH's driving licence today, and as the NSD was lost anyway, stocked up on fruit juices and squash as my supplies were depleted and I forgot to add them to yesterday's shopping list. Grateful for a break in the rain to dry the laundry, and the home grown spinach and strawberries that I picked today7
