Hi JUst got back from holiday today and will go straight on to mse mode as have spent a fair amount and a but over budget, as weather was awful I ended our holiday with a day of unaccounted for activities yesterday - surfing and a nice pub lunch. All good value for money, but money. I have been booked for extra work though, that will move than cover it, so all is good.
I don't know if I will catch up on reading till the weekend. Was so tired this afternoon I almost fell asleep on the couch after we got home.
Grateful for lovely(if bumpy) holiday with boys. For trying surfing, I absolutely love it, it is so much fun, lets not mention that all I did was to cling to a body board! Next time it will be a real surf board, but I need to watch a bit of youtube first.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

thanks everyone. DD1 has gone home now (she lives with her boyfr); she went for a job interview this afternoon and got offered the job! She also applied for a job at her current place so she may have a choice to make but that is a nice decision if it comes to it.
I achieved an NSD today so that is 2 x NSDs for jolly July so far.
My busy and stressful week is catching up with me so i've been watching TV this eve and off to bed now.

Thursday- I've been totally useless at checking in, but its NSD 4 today. DD has been unwell (not COVID related, just standard kid not well), so summer holidays not been very exciting so far. House is fractionally tidier and she is back to normal now so we might manage a day out at some point. Budgets are on track- nothing unplanned has been spent so far this month and our "holiday" spending currently sits at £0 so that's a win (even if it's for a rubbish reason)
Grateful today for DD being better, a bag of clothes sorted to leave the house and getting plenty of outside time today!6 -
I'v had a busy day. Still feeling wobbly so did lots of little bits - wandered round the garden collecting rubbish, small quantities of stuff for the other bins, moved tomato pots and swept stones, lots of bits in my room and finally 3.5 hours outside digging (sitting down). No money spent.
Grateful for making meals from leftover bits and bobs, making stuff fit into small spaces, moving forward slowly. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
NSD No 4
Collected my new glasses yesterday. They are quite plain but suit my face and it is good to see so clearly. I had put the money away for them but Himself has insisted on paying. He's such a lovely person. So I had a little bit of a walk.
As a result of the great neighbourhood cellar clear out I've inherited some large garden containers and a bit bag of potting compost. And another neighbour whom I really only say "hello" to has offered me nine beautiful ceramic pots which have been sitting on her porch doing nothing. She said she got them intending to start planting but never got round to it and she doesn't really have the time.
Dr Carrie - Ludlow is one of the places I would really like to visit. It looks lovely but is a bit of a faff to get to from here by public transport. One day, though.
Himself has gone to get a haircut so I'm going to get dressed and when he gets back we're going for a walk.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
Morning all,
Thanks to all of you about the virtues of Ludlow. I love castles, bridges and nice little walks so I am full of hope!
I am on NSD 5 - and no reason why today won't be number 6. With 5 in a row at that!
