    c905 £200 ( but £150 credit) so net cost £50
    £25pm
    unlimited text
    unlimited mobile data
    2600 minutes pm (anytime xnet)
    £25pm x 18m
( also offerred free home BB with free w/e , eve calls , but can't as I'm in contract on gthe landline )

OK I could have got cheaper if willing to take less minutes, but its the excess charges on the excess minutes that they make their money and as this is for an teenager, better safe than sorry ( rather pay a higher monthly fee thyan risk a massive bill)

This account been with them for about 5 yrs , ( although silly when I previously wanted a deal on an additional account they would not offer anything special)

The 2000 extra mins were originally given 18 m ago ( in line with o2 who was giving 2000 w/e mins extra - org saids easier to just add as anytime- ( unfortuantely lost them this month as old package ended before I renewed) again I think they gave use the texts before it was actually standard .

Was previously paying £30 - they offered the £25 without question

I never asked for the data - just offered it, though suppose its worthwhile if my son wants to browse( doubt its a great experience on mobile )

I did go straight thro to disconnections , as we honestly where looking at leaving ( to get o2 simplicity / iphone)- they did try and rubbish the iphone a bit- but cut no ice, given I was calling them from mine at the time.

Note about the free b/b offer - it required you to take calls ( not line) via them ( i couldn't as on a free eve call pack from bt) didn't make that clear until I questioned it ( only said you get free eve & w/e - which might have been a clue if it wasn't the fact that I already get free calls via their livebox already for £5 )

    ---
because I have and need 2 landlines into the house ( plus the livebox 2nd line!) I am in the position to take up the low cost bb deals , and accept that they don't work - as I can swap over.

    Round One

Contract end on 28 December so I rang today just to see what they would offer me.

I am currently on the Dolphin 30 plan with a £5 loyalty discount giving me a monthly charge of £25. She offered me the same plan for the same price with the SE C905 (the phone that I want) for £109.99 and the same amount credited to my account.

I just want the phone free from the start so will ring them in a few weeks to see what has changed.

thanks payless I have the 2000 Xtra on one of my handsets for the same reasons & was extended 18 months last August come upgrade, so there maybe hope in a few months of keeping them & staying Orange :)

they have been removed twice this year, reapplied & bills recredited A MAJOR HASSLE THOUGH ! first removal was an error, the second im not sure but they reapplied easily this time ( SHOCK ! fantastic care :)), I doubt can keep them come upgrade - they seem to want them off off OFF my account lol

Saying that 3 & o2 are doing unlimited inhouse calls and that beats my Orange Your Group so they will need to do a good offer to keep me with 4 handsets

I already have a handset wanting to leave Orange your group as they have a high volume of calls to 3 & a few bad experiences with Orange customer services, they are willing to pay out the remaining 6 months to PAC to 3 ( they have the new 3 a/c already & carrying 2 mobiles ) i told them no as you at least are paying out for mins over the months than a lump sum for nowt...its thier call but for now they are seeing how they go

I must say Orange customer care has improved massively since I joined 2006 it when its a non customer facing dept ( meant to ) action stuff the non-complience starts.....

I'm on £35 for 400 xnet, 100 landline and 50 texts for the past 12 months

It's really the luck of the draw with orange I have found. I called them 7-8 times, i got 5 guys telling me they couldn't do anything at all, one of them was flabergasted and told me to find a competitor and ask for a price match or a lower price! The others offered me a new sony phine for £10 for 300 mins 100 txts or £15 for 500 mins 100 texts with unlimited landlines.

I was hoping for 500 mins for £10 (without a new phone if necessary), but they would not go that low. In hindsight, maybe I should have taken the £10 deal, and flogged the phone to recoup some money, but the network coverage in my house is poor with dropped calls and all I ever got back for dropped mobile calls under their so called network guarantee was credited landline minutes, usually 1 min credit for every dropped call.....conning gits.

So bye bye orange, and welcome vodafone.

^Try Orange Unique, the Orange signal at home for me at back of my house ( no i have not a mansion- i wish LOL ) is non exisitant but full at the front ? Now all my calls are great coverage over the Livebox which becomes my own dedicated connection to Orange in my own house ! ;)

you get Broadband Unlimited for £5 and a Nokia 6301 for wifi-Unique calls FREE
calls to 30 countriesOrange and 010203 landlines over any wifi signal that the Broadband provider allows such use of for telephoney ( 90 % success for me )

I had Unique problems till a new livebox update seemed to sort out, been 5 months with not one problem.....
Haggle a deal on 6301 ( they are dying to clear stocks, that goes in your favour ;)) £15 500/100 (and another) unlimited ?

when it arrrives call registration to activate new sim card ( after copying old sim card contacts etc to 6301), ask them to apply the FREE Unique bundles and set up your Broadband Unlimited ( 8MB, 40GB, calls to 100 International landlines/Orange/010203 UK numbers )

well spent on BB & Mobile & all UK landline calls with bonus of international landlines on both BB & mobile

" Unique Nokia 6301,500 minutes and 100 texts and A UNLIMITED bundle - fiveteen pounds

Broadband with all the bells, five

having a Orange signal at home - PRICELESS " sorry could not resist ! LOL

if you think you will get better care from Voda's 3rd party call centres THINK again, if your detriment go for 30 day Voda contract to test em out, they the dearest network & the most arrogant care I have ever had " yes Mr Diamonds you were mis-sold your contract but NO you cant leave penatly-free ! "...... I have never heard of an ommisson/unresolution like it from a UK network
