no £15 to add its included in the price, £50 for LG & choose a free handset ? if you call ( not order online ) o2 you can wangle the free insurance as " Orange gives it FREE to all business customers " & thats stopping you coming to o2
Sure your right Diamonds. If I spent some time with O2 I'd get that deal and phones but as we are low minute users and orange are giving enough I'll stick with this deal. I really must spend some time earning money. I'm in danger not using my time economically. The time I'm spending is saving me less than if that time were earning if you get what I mean.
So I best be off. The joy of being your own boss.
Catch up else where on the furum another time .
thanks for all the input.0 -
own boss, been ther done that - no more said LOL
coolio Vintagered, just like to see peeps get the best deal regardless, i hate T-mob & Voda but if the usage fits I recommend themSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... Nope, wife is a low user (max bill was £23 once and she was on hols in Spain during the month so had roaming on the bill), rest of the bills have been £15 give or take the odd £1 of MMS.....
All she really wanted was the SE C902 for pictures. Cheapest outside Orange was Three which is where I was going to go. They 'offered' the rest without any pushing at all.......0 -
Following on from my earlier post I called orange back and have got the following which I am happy with although I am sure someone else would probably have got a better deal !!
Nokia 6500 slide
400 any network minutes
unlimited texts
for £15 per month (18 month contract).
Plus I am also getting a free blue-tooth headset.
thanks for the advice.0 -

Dolphin 25 is £20 200mins unlimited txts - is avail to downgrades after 9 months at the moment with 200 extra minutes
seems that deal is doing the retentions round @ approx £15 + handset, which is a rather good deal considering 500/unlimited texts is £25 on 3, apart from 3 do it on 12 months so you lot could push further
3 500/unlimited text & unlimited 3-3
FREE handsets ( most popular - read " what we want to get rid " LOL )
Sony Ericsson W595
Nokia 6500 Slide Black
Sony Ericsson W910i Black*
Sony Ericsson K770i Purple
Nokia 6500 Slide Silver
Samsung L770 Pink
Samsung L770 Silver
Sony Ericsson K530i Silver
Nokia 3120
Sony Ericsson K770i Black
most the above FREE on Orange
BUT !!!
75 minutes 150texts £20, Dolphin 25 websave ( £5 ), 12 months - shop.orange.co.uk
3 also beats T-mob FLEXT 12 & 18 monthers, Combo no 12 months unlimited texts
o2 no 12 months contracts
Voda no 12 month unlimited texts
Orange really need to match 3 unlimited texts plan - they are the only network doing 12 month unlimited texts but dont come near 3 for valueSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... Just in case it helps anyone going for a new deal, my experience is as follows....
After a shocking year with Orange culminating in them crediting my account with almost £600 in overpaid bills, I called for a new deal. I don't know if my customer rating (if there is such a thing) was boosted, but the guys I spoke to didn't seem cognizant of my protracted dealings and eventual refund; in short, I reckon the below is achievable for any customer if you push hard enough.
I called once and was offered the Dolphin 35 for £25 and a free C905 - saving £50 on the cost of the phone, and £5/month of the internet price of the tariff. Not too impressed, so I left it a week, and called back. I intended to get a C905 and sell it on, thereby covering some of my contract costs (presently bills are about £50/month). With very little prompting, and a change of phone to the slightly less desirable Sony Ericsson W595, I was offered:
Dolphin 40 - 750 cross network minutes, unlimited texts
Unlimited data downloads
Orange Premier customer service
Free phone
4GB memory card (in addition to the 2GB card supplied)
Bluetooth headset (worth about £40)
£75 credited to my account
....on an 18 month contract....
£6 per month
With the credit, this is going to cost me £33 over the year; and in theory, I could always sell the headset and memory card and be in profit, as I'll never use all the minutes and texts. I was originally offered £100 credit, but bartered £25 of it for the memory card. It's worth noting that after I was offered the deal, I said I'd like to think about it for 24 hours - this totally threw the guy, seeing as he'd just made me an amazing offer, but meant that I could go away and then continue to push for a little extra when he called back - which I got. I can't wait to see next year's offer though!
Good luck....and don't underestimate the power of silence. I simply said "Tell me what you can do for me", and shut up - the longer I stayed schtum, the more the guy was offering me to try and get a positive response.0
