I asked for my PAC 2 weeks ago, I was passed to the retentions team who asked why I was leaving

On mentioning the EE price rises I was then given a ridiculous story that it was the governments fault not them for putting up the RPI, to say this is constructive use of the facts is being generous

I was fairy short when she told me this and was given the PAC without any offers being made - which in my mood I wouldnt have taken anyway after this!

Over the weekend I received a message offering:

    'free' Samsung Galaxy S5
    Unlimited minutes
    Unlimited texts
    2GB of 4G data
£27.49 per month, 24 months (and automatic price increases every year)

TBH honest this seems Ok however due to being a premium Spotify subscriber I cant overlook the £10 per month I can take off a Vodafone contract who bundle it in with their 4G plus Id have triple the data for less money AND NO STUPID DUPLICITOUS PRICE RISES

    :)

  • Just got offered HTC m8
    ul calls
    Ul texts
    2gb data

    £25 a month for 24 months

Nit sure its worth it when I can get a £5 or £8 a month sim only from virgin retentions and buy the lg g3 for 300.

2 yaers agoI paid 14.50 for the contract, got an Xperia, sold it and it made the contract work out Cheaper then a sim only

    Whats your thoughts?

That seems like a decent deal, quite surprised that Orange are trying to keep customers at all tbh.

But yes you're right if I you can get a £5 / £8 sim from Virgin with the LG G3 then that works out cheaper.

Hi I was wondering if this seems like a good retention deal for my wife, who needs a new phone (HTC desire currently) and has fairly low usage:

    Free Samsung Ace 4
    500 mins
    500 MB
    Unlimited texts

    £7.49 per month

It seems great, but is it the best out there?

For a low user that seems a good deal with a handset included.

The Galaxy Ace 4 seems to be £110 at its cheapest on PAYG, so your actual line rental would work out at £2.91 a month over 24 months if you take the handset cost out.

Thread title is "Orange Retention Offers" so it's probably safe to take a guess at Orange ;).
