That seems like a great deal, I'd grab it with both hands0

Has anyone upgrade through Car phone warehouse?
Anything to be aware of?0 -
hi,
how do you find out how many loyalty points you have?
thanks0 -
Here's the retention deal I was offered, thought it was good.
Upgrade from a 24 months contract of an S3, had been paying £24.16/month
HTC M8 - £130 up front, then £24.29 / month = 1000 minutes, unlimited texts and 2gb 4g.
I will cover most of the up front cost selling the S3 to Asda recyling, so effectively my monthly cost hasn't changed for me0 -

Out of contract and been eligible for an upgrade for last two years!!...... Never bothered but 3GS finally dying so called to see what I could get. Was offered the following:
iPhone 5S (16GB)
4GEE
Unltd mins
Unltd texts
2GB data (tethering allowed) + free data sim for iPad etc
£165 upfront for handset + £23.99 per month (24mths)
Being delivered Friday but I believe there is 14 days cooling off period. Is this a good deal? Can I get better?
Wiling to pay high upfront handset cost to reduce overall cost over contract length.
Thanks
It a better deal than the one I just got offered here:

I called up orange today and they offered me the following deal:
Samsung S4:
1000 min
Unlimited texts
1GB data on a 4G plan with EE
£90 upfront and then £23.99 a month.
I don't really want the S4 (I was hoping for the S5 or the Note 3) but it was the best plan/phone within my price range. I didn't go through to retentions...but maybe I should? I have looked at carephone warehouse and they seem to be offering more expensive deals than that.
Also how do I get through to retentions? Do I press the cancelling account choice instead of the talk through upgrade choice?0 -

I am so happy with the deal I got from retentions just now. After going through to upgrades and receiving a poor offer for the S4 I called back again with a plan in mind.
I saw a plan for 500 min unlimited texts and 500mb data which I saw from O2 for £23 a month + £179 upfront for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The person at customer services said that he couldn't match that and put me through to retentions.
After some negotiations with different phones, lowering monthly costs and increasing handset costs I got the following deal which I took:
Samsung Note 3:
500 min
unlimited texts
500mb (4GEE)
for £18.99 a month and £155 up front cost.
I have been wanting this phone for ages (4 months now) and the 50 minutes I spent talking through with orange was well worth it.

Hey guys,
I currently am with orange sim only and took advantage of the £5 off a 12 month contract, downgraded near the end of the contract and kept the discount after it kept rerolling.
When the 12 months was up, I was given 500mb data free a month so I'm at £5.84 a month for 100 minutes (I use around 5 minutes every month), unlimted texts(I use around 100-200) and 750mb data (usually use all, try to preserve as I may go over).
What would you all suggest? Should I go for a higher data deal? Orange last time offered me the same as the website ones so I'm not sure what to do.0
