Hi i got this deal last week, but the phone was free. What was your monthly spend? as mine was £35pm, so depending on what your monthly spend was, i'd definitely try for the deal with the phone free.0 -
Offered - as posted above
Smasung Galaxy S2
£110 phone cost, £15.32 monthly cost
18 months
100 mins, unlimited texts, 500mb, 30Pic messages
or
Smasung Galaxy S2
£105 phone cost, £15.00 monthly cost
24 months
200 mins, unlimited texts, 750mb, 30Pic messages
Will prob go for the 18monther as I don't want to be tied for too long, but tempted by the 'buffer' data and minutes.
Have to say that the people I've spoken to have been really good.0 -
I'm just finishing my 18 months contract, paid £10 for 200min, 200 text and 80Mb data. Retentions did offer:
Samsung Galaxy SII £240
200 min
Unlimited text
500 mb internet
18 months for £10
I know it is not the best deal but they claim my usage is too low to get anything better. It would work out at £420 for the contact.
How easy is SII to unlock?0 -
Thats decent as compared to what I got offered.
Samsung G S2 for £200 and then £15/month for 18 months for
200 minutes
unlimited landlines
500 MB internet
Presently on the same Tariff.
I casually asked for PAC which was immediately texted to me!!
Do not now if I can negotiate further when PAC has been issued.
Was tempted by mobililes. co . uk 12 month deal but now the price of the phone has gone up to 119.99 from 99.99
:money::think:I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T0 -

I was thinking about this deal too but can't move from Orange. I have their old Unlimited BB with int. calls which for £5 is unbeatable. I will give another go and see wether they can do phone for £199
I think the trick is letting them believe that you can leave Orange without actually doing so.
I can't as it is the only carrier that provides reception to my village, but I am not going to tell them that!0 -
Finally I accepted the offer as it was not going anywhere.
Samsung Gal S2 for £176 on £15/month
400 minutes
unlimited landlines
300 texts
500 MB data.
Total cost over 18 month contract: 446I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T0 -
I have a Nokia 5800 costing around £13/mth for 100mins, unltd texts and 80MB. My contract runs out in a week and would ideally like an HTC for free. I would like the same package but with a big uplift in data. What do you think my chances are? And do I need to wait until my contract runs out for extra bargaining power?0

Depends on if you go over you £13 a month? How long you want it over and which phone you want?
If you're never going over £13 then your chances are remote. Even 24 months at £13 is only £312, that hardly covers the cost of the handset never mind the extra data you want.
You can try asking for your pac code and see what they'll offer to keep you, but if you're only bring them in £13 a month they'll most likely just give it to you unless you're prepared to stump up some ££ for the handset to keep the monthly cost down ??0
