Seems a pretty good deal but do you need all those minutes etc? if not try and get it down. Atrix is a good phone, very good for business. In the top 5 phones right now i'd say.0

That's exactly the deal that orange retentions offered me dmartins13, may try the local phones4u store to see if they can match it

Just paid £32 for a HTC Wildfire,
18 month contract for £15.54 a month
800 minutes
300 texts
unltd landline calls
magic numbers
1gb data
feeling quite pleased, but fairly sure some of you lot will no doubt have a better deal :')0 -
Put in for my cancellation yesterday (moving to three because the reception is much better where I live), someone from Orange phones today:
Them: "So you are moving to three?"
Me: "Yes"
Them: "How much are you paying?"
Me: "Ten pounds on a 12 month contract"
Them: "Sounds good, see ya!"
<phone goes dead>
Hah - I guess that I wasn't enough of a spender for Orange to bother with!0 -

It is all down to profits these days. If you make them no money they'll happily wave you goodbye.0 -

Oh I know that, I was just used to a bit more back and forward than that. :rotfl:
I'm not surprised orange were not interested, I was paying £15 a month for 1000 minutes, unlimited text and internet and never going over it.0 -

The systems being streamlined so that CSR's don't spend a lot of time with people that don't generate any revenue. rather than letting you call back 3 or 4 times they'll just tell you no chance as soon as the system say's you're not worth keeping.
They're letting so many staff go due the T mobile merger they need to reduce the number of calls coming in. . .0 -
Can someone advise me when is the best time to call upgrades? I called this evening and got some silly indian call centre.
Also what number should I call? I am deaf so I have to use a landline number not 150 so I would appreciate a landline number
thanks0 -

Best time is between 9 and 11;30 and 2:00 to 5:00. that's when most staff are in and they aren't fighting big call ques and can spend a bit of time with you working through the system...
(don't have a number other than 150, sorry).0
