I've currently got an iPhone 3gs, paying £25 p/m contract expires beginning June.

I do like the iPhone but want to reduce my monthly payment so upgrading to iPhone 4 is not an option!

So can anyone here recommend a good smartphone, which is as good as if not better than a 3GS? I'm not interested in OSF, or HTC Wildfire.

I don't really want to have to pay for the phone & would like to reduce my tariff to around £15 a month.
    :)

    I think you misunderstood this.
It is "Lapdock" that costs £300ish.

Nope, didn't misunderstand at all - quizzed the Orange rep 3 times and the lapdock is included. It's due to be delivered tomorrow so will confirm then.

I think the rep may have been mistaken, I too quizzed them and when they checked with someone who knew it was indeed the multimedia kit. You never know you may get lucky.

I couldn't get them below £30 a month for the Atrix. Don't know how someone got a £20 deal. Oh well.....

Really not sure what to do now.

    I wanted the HTC Desire HD and the first retention offer was this;
HTC Desire - Handset Cost £100
    +200min
    +1GB data,
    +unlimited texts for
Total cost: £15 a month on an 18mth contract.
I also have my broadband and line rental with them.

Should I stick with this deal or twist and ask for my PAC code and go elsewhere?

I'm entering the last 3 months of my 24 month contract:

    • 200 Free mins.
    • UL Texts.
    • 250mb free Internet.
    • £25 p/m.
Currently got the iPhone 3GS. Which I'm pretty happy with and would more than likely keep.

I was wondering if anyone has heard if Orange will offer iPads instead of upgrading the handset?

    Didn't get lucky :(

First the phone was delivered to the wrong address (admin error apparently) and then there was no lapdock.

Just getting to know the phone now but it's very zingy and has some nice features. I'll complain on Monday about the missing lapdock .... but really not getting my hopes up.

They're offering a dock worth £130 to existing customers upgrading to the Atrix, I'd phone them back and ask where/what it is

Edit: Its a work and play kit, whatever that is, apparently worth £130
