Orange just offered me most of their phones for free, £25 a month, and 300 minutes.
Think this is pretty pants,....
i have just under 3 months left of my current contract, but spotted a nokia n8 for free, 500 minutes, £25 a month on nokiadirect.co.uk , and orange said they'd charge me £25 a month, for 300 minutes, and £50 for the n8, and they wouldn't match the other deal.
Hmmm.0 -

Unlimited text.
500 mb internet & email.
£50 for the handset.
£30 p/m.
Is that a decent deal? Or should I haggle further?
Assuming it's 24 months (as mine was above) you're paying 24 x £20 + £50 more for a similar contract; i.e about £530 for the Atrix0 -
I had tried to get a decent deal off retentions with no luck. They also didnt have the Samsung Galaxy S2. So i went into phones4u and got:
Samsung Galaxy S2 Free
200 mins
300 texts
Unlimited landlines
500 mb data.
£20.00 a month for 18 months
I'm band 3 according to the guys at phones4u.
Well pleased0 -

Hmmm.
Its the 3 months that's the problem. You'll get better offers in the last month and better still once you're out of your minimum term. They know you can't leave at the moment. ..0 -

If that is a genuine deal well done. Total cost only £360. Sounds almost to good to be true.0 -

It's with 10% loyalty discount on line rental and they knocked the handset price of £50 quid off the phone as i was getting insurance with them. I was pretty shocked myself when i realised it was only 18 months0 -

Surely not???!!!!
I am band 3, the cheapest they could upgrade me to was £35 a month??0 -
Hi guys - just coming to end of my 18 month contract with orange for i phone and called orange to see what they could offer me just to see options
Just speaking to upgrades they offered me
Atrix free
1200 cross net mins (think its a 600 min package they doubled up)
unlimited texts
750 data
i think they offered me 50 pic messages
keyboard mouse and dock thrown in i think
£35 a month
now im usually on 18 month contracts and i didnt write down what length of time this offer was for so im assuming its 24 months which sort of worries me. Does this deal seem ok? dont know much about the phone itself - looked at a couple reviews and it seems ok. Probably get through to retentions and see what else they can throw in though the woman in upgrades said I was unlikely to get anything else and my loyalty was really good.0
