My contract due to end 31/05. Phoned up today and just upgraded:
HTC Desire S - £36
18 months - £26.42 per month
400 mins
300 txt
Unlimited Landline
1GB Data
18 months insurance
Good deal?
I was also offered £20/month for 24 months (Free HTC Desire S, 200 mins, 1GB data, 300 txt) but didn't want to tide up to 24 months.0 -

Add in the £36 cost of phone, makes £151.56. The extra 6 months at £20 is just £120), so you would actually SAVE £31.56 AND have an extra 6 months line rental covered, so as a moneysaver, this seems much better. Any reason why you are against the 24 month contract?
That's very true. I did think about the 24 months deal as 200 mins would actually be enough for me given it also comes with unlimited landline. I guess the reason I went with the 18 months deal is that I am always "deluded" to that I get "bored" with a phone when reached about 12 months. So an extra 6 months would seems too long.
Not really a MoneySavingExpert deal, but rather a self satisfying one.0 -

I will use all the minutes as i use 600 or slightly under at the minute, they have offered it to me for 20 a month, i like blackberrys as I have one at the minute.
Do you think this is a good deal for 20 a month?

I rung upgrades and was told the Desire S isn't available until mid May. She told me to ring back at the end of May, beginning of June before I'd get the Desire S!0
