Orange Retention Offers

Orange will launch the Galaxy S2, the original Galaxy was a massive seller, can't say when it'll be available0

My contract is expiring at the start of may. I've talked to orange a couple of times and been offered nothing even remotely decent. Am after a Desire HD,and the best they can do for me is £35/month with free phone.
I even pointed out that I could get that straight off the high street as a new customer, but they'd rather give me my PAC than budge on the offer.
I guess orange is losing another customer after 8 years loyalty, and my partner will be following suite as her contract with them has also just expired.0 -
My contract due to end 31/05. Phoned up today and just upgraded:
HTC Desire S - £36
18 months - £26.42 per month
400 mins
300 txt
Unlimited Landline
1GB Data
18 months insurance
Good deal?
I was also offered £20/month for 24 months (Free HTC Desire S, 200 mins, 1GB data, 300 txt) but didn't want to tide up to 24 months.0 -
            From retentions I got:
HTC Desire HD - free
600 mins
unlimted texts
1GB data
24 months
for £20 a month. I am happy with this, wasn't sure they would offer me anything as I have been PAYG for the last 5 years (with Orange)DFW Nerd #1310 -
            Hi everyone,
I am out of my Orange contract by 11 months, i need to get my phone bill down as I am having a baby in May.
I have been offered this, a Blackberry Curve 9300
with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet.
Not very clued up on mobile phone tariffs and am getting more and more confused. Is this a good offer?
Thanks for taking the time to read this0 -

I think you need to know how many minutes you need and what phone you want, what features will you use first to find out what is good deal. Personally i would never get a blackberry because of lack of applications.BellatrixLeStrange wrote: »Hi everyone,

My contract is up 06/07/11....well it should have been up 06/01/11 but Orange denied agreeing a 12 month contract and so I was stuck with 18 month. They refused to honour the contract, but supposedly made a note on my file to offer a very good deal on my upgrade when due....
Anyway, I'm thinking of the Blackberry Torch, so just phoned up to ask about it.
I was offered
18 month contract @ £35 with free handset
24 m @ £30 with £36 handset
24 m @ £25 with £36 handset
She didn't even seem interested in telling me what was included in the contract until I actually asked:
500 minutes
unlimited text
500mb internet
Think this is pretty poor considering I could use an external supplier to get a better deal with a free gift or cashback.... I had a call from one of these companies a couple of days ago offering me an upgrade and they said if I did it through them, it would just be a 24m contract and would not add on 3m I still have outstanding - anyone know how this works? I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?

Very poor, and don't forget Quidco or the like for extra cashback. As to the 3months outstanding, the new company would simply pay off the remainder of your existing contract out of the commission they receive from Orange.vickster*arsenal wrote: »I'm thinking of the Blackberry Torch, so just phoned up to ask about it.
