Anyone tried their luck at getting a HTC Desire S via retentions? If so be interested to know what they offering...

I have been offered the Desire S for £12 per month and the handset price of £84. 200 mins, 500texts and 500 mb.

Not bad, I was going to move to O2 as they have the HTC incredible for £21.53 per month (100 mins - rest the same)
  • Think I'll have to give them a call again now the Desire S is out - was after the Desire HD but they couldn't give me a very good deal on that so decided to stick it out a bit. Here's hoping :-)

Took a few tries, but eventually got:
    • Xperia Arc: Free
    • 500 Minutes
    • Unlimited Texts
    • 500mg Data
    • Mobile Broadband (500mg month)
    • £22/month
The phone and mobile broadband were things I was specifically looking for.

I was wondering whether anyone had had any luck with Orange offering them a Samsung Galaxy S or an iPhone4 to stay with them?

I am currently paying £20 a month on an 18month contract up in June. I get 200 minutes I think, which is fine, and think I get unlimited texts.

Thats a good contract. :) Can you give us more details about this contract? Is it 18 months or 24 months. What company?

    I just got the following:

    Free samsung galaxy s
    100 mins (don't need anymore)
    Unlimited texts
    500 mb internet
£15 per month on a 24 month contract.

What do you think of that?

My upgrade date is 17th April so I still have 3 months of my contract to go. I'll be calling retentions on Monday and hoping for something similar. I currently pay £15 for

    200 mins
    Unlimited texts
    80 mb internet

If no joy I am seriously tempted to move to talkmobile (Vodafone)
    Galaxy S
    £18

    300 mins
    1000 texts
    truly unlimited internet

The problem I have is this will be my first android phone so I don't know how much data I will need and whether 500MB will be enough. I intend to have the shareprice.co.uk app running constantly between 9 and 5 every week day.

    Thanks
